Hostal Sueños Silvestres

What a wonderful place to start my Galapagos Adventure. They treated me like family! They made sure I had a hot breakfast before I went SCUBA diving and even when I got picked up before breakfast was ready, they made us wait to give me a tasty sandwich! My room was cozy and very clean. I was very comfortable. The location is just off the main street. Very quiet but an easy walk for food and shopping. Super easy to get to Charles Darwin Research Station. I would absolutely stay here again!

A super clean room with ample shelving and hanging space for all of my things. I only stayed one night but would've been very comfortable here for a longer stay, as well. Warm water in the shower. Wifi worked well in my room. Free water refill station by the office. You have the option of getting breakfast at the hotel in the morning. The courtyard of the property is very pretty, and the manager who greeted me was very accommodating. Before I'd even gotten to my room, he'd set me up with a taxi to take me on a tour of the highlands that afternoon as well as pick me up the next morning to take me to the airport. It was wonderful to have all of that sorted right away. He did not speak English, and my Spanish is not great, but he was quick to pull out the ol' translator app to make sure we completely understood each other. I liked the location of this hotel at the end of town toward the Charles Darwin Research Center. It felt calmer here than the hecticness at the other side of town near the pier. Sueños Silvestres is also close to the fish market and only two blocks away from the Jardin de Ceramica (a beautiful, quiet escape within noisy Puerto Ayora). SUPER quiet at night.

We stayed for one night at this hostal. We booked a twin room with private bathroom. The bathroom was located outside our room, but in the same hallway. Room was quite, clean and spacious. Bathroom is a bit outdated, but also clean. Shower was not hot. Carlos and his wife are very friendly and organized a taxi to the airport for us.

Als je op Santa Cruz verblijft, moet je echt kiezen voor Suenos Silvestres. Het is een thuis weg van huis. De kamers zijn ruim, schoon en het hostel ligt in de leukste wijk van Puerta Ayora. Wij hebben genoten van de gastvrijheid van Carlos en zijn vrouw. Met veel liefde denken wij terug aan ons verblijf.

Estuve hospedado por una semana y toda la experiencia fue muy placentera; la habitación era muy cómoda y con mucho espacio. La ubicación es perfecta para poder caminar al malecón y las principales atracciones, yo adicione desayunos en la hostal y cada día fue un menú diferente, completo y muy delicioso. Visitare y recomendare este hospedaje con todas las personas que quieran descubrir las maravillosas islas.

No solamente el lugar si no los anfitriones fueron excelentes. El desayuno cuidadosamente servido con la explicación de los alimentos. La Sra. Esther siempre dispuesta a ayudar con una sonrisa presente. Su esposo, el Sr. Carlos atento a gestionar cualquier duda sobre la isla. Lo suficientemente lejos del ruido de la calle principal y lo suficientemente cerca como para llegar. ¿Qué más se puede pedir?
