Courtyard Pueblo Downtown

Rooms were nice staff was great , very disappointed with bar. Staff in bar area didn't know how to make drinks n they were out or many liquors that were of there signature drinks on board.

I want to start out by saying that everyone we met at this hotel was wonderful. Friendly, cheerful & efficient. Unfortunately, the hotel did not meet the standards that their staff set. We were assigned to a "suite" room, where the bedroom was separated from the rest of the area by a door. Unfortunately, the living area was unusable. It had no HVAC & was very hot. There was a box fan that we were apparently supposed to use to pull cool air from the bedroom into the living area, but you can guess how well that worked. There was also a large wall unit that would bring in air from the bedroom, but it was incredibly noisy, so we couldn't use that if we intended to be in the room. In addition, it was very dark. There were a couple of lamps, but they had those old yellow cfl bulbs, so didn't do much to light the room at all. The bedroom itself was fine, although the bed was very soft (maybe just very old?). The room was poorly cared-for. Even in the dim light, we could see the chipped furniture. There was a used pod in the Keurig, hair in the bathroom, and a dirty shower. The shared shampoo & such in the shower were up so high that they were difficult to reach (I'm 5'6") & the hot water temp was set to scalding. That's easy to adjust, of course, but could be a problem if children or people with neuropathy were trying to use it. The toilet ran off & on all night. In contrast, the indoor pool & fitness center were both fairly big/attractive. The fitness center had the usual cardio stuff & the ubiquitous hand weights, but no rowing machine & only a physical therapy-type bike, no spin-type bike. You'll want to avoid the food at the coffee area (we didn't try the restaurant, so can't speak to that). The pleasant woman working back there did all she could, but there's not a lot of joy to be had in stale items, even when they've been microwaved. In summary, I'd avoid this place until it lists that it's had a major renovation. There are lots of hotels downtown Pueblo & I'm guessing that at least some of them are better cared-for.

While there were a few problems we encountered, none of them seemed serious enough to report. Our AC wasn't working well, so I called the front desk, and Tammy, the girl who checked us in, had someone look at it in a matter of minutes. I didn't get the man's name but he fixed the A/C in a swift, timely manner . We also needed extra towels, and our shampoo was running low once more. Tammy quickly had the necessary items taken care of by having someone up to our room in no time. Not to note her friendly greeting upon check-in was definitely one of a kind. Kristin Martinez thank you for making my nieces wedding easy and stress fee. Lastly the rooms were comfy and tidy despite their age.

Pretty gross. The shower floor was slimy and the room was dank and smelly. Bed was OK. Also the water in the bathroom was wildly inconsistent. Want a burning hot then icy cold shower? C'mon on over. I didn't like my stay. A clean bathroom isn't too much to ask and it was NOT clean.

Let’s start with parking. Parking is ri-damn-diculous! There is not enough on a Tuesday night, so the weekends must be a damn joke! Then to make up for the parking they give you parking across the street in a parking lot that has zero security. Of course they make sure the parking pass clearly states they will not be responsible for lost or damaged property. This seems to be a pretty sketchy town. Your best hope is to park under a light as the the homeless problem is out of control and please don’t let the females in your party walk out there alone after dark. It’s just way too dangerous. I wish some guidance and advice was given during checkin. What pissed me off the most is they have a huge yellow/loading zone and they let any rich contractors park there all night without fearing getting towed, WTAF! Why is that okay with them, because maybe they’ll come back again if their contract allows. They’re entitled jackasses for doing it, Marriotts horrible for allowing, while single women, traveling alone have to brave walking around these sketchy streets alone. Get some security, don’t let anyone park in the yellow loading zone. Next, the room. We were exhausted and worried about the safety of our car. I went in to take a shower. First the water pressure could almost remove skin, just giving you that heads up. It hits you with freezing then slight adjustment to the red side and it’s scolding you, just another heads up. But my favorite was in the middle of my shower I find there is no shampoo. There is two bottles of body wash and one of conditioner. WTAF?!? How hard is it to switch out the bottles. Next what is with the ghosting TV?!? I thought Colorado cared about the environment, so why can’t we turn off the TV?!? We had to unplug it to get it to be off. Cleanliness…well it seems clean at first, but when drawing the drapes you find surprises like we did. Something squished and bloody, not sure if it’s a bug or people blood. Hope you don’t find any surprises. The bed was lumpy and uncomfortable. The hallway was loud. As was the entitled Harley parking on the sidewalk next to the front door. The place is not the right place to relax and rejuvenate. Truly expected better from Marriott!

Hotel was great, no parking had to park at the convention center and walk to the hotel. Next morning paid for the breakfast buffet, not free like most hotels. Bacon and sausage were so dry you couldn't chew it. Had to cut pancakes with a knife and this was at 6:30 am. Best part was the watery fake eggs. Come on Marriott do better and if you can't then give it away.

Staff is very friendly. The hotel itself falls well below expectations. The ac in the rooms do not work well. The beds are not comfortable at all. You can see the sag in them. The hallways are very hot and smell bad. The room is self was not very clean. The bathroom has mildew in the shower and floor. I didn't expect to get 5 star accommodations in Pueblo but I did expect more from Marriott.

Great stay while driving to Aspen! VERY REASONABLY priced! VERY friendly staff - I interacted with 7 employees during my one night stay. I didn’t not experience the parking issues mentioned by other reviewers. Lots of parking…. Maybe it’s bad when there is a convention going on, but was not a problem on July 6th

If you're attending an event at the Pueblo Convention Center, you can't beat this place for convenience. Our room was comfy, quiet and reasonably clean. We liked having the option to request no maid service during our three day stay due to equipment stored in the room. Helpful front desk provided extra coffee supplies when we asked. Great location that enabled us to enjoy the riverwalk and the cute shops/cafes on the main walking streets leading to the historic train depot. Only major complaint is the woefully understaffed restaurant. The cheerful folks at the coffee counter provide service with a smile, but during a busy breakfast time for conventioneers there's one overworked young lady taking all the orders and then relaying them back to a distant kitchen, where someone else is supposed to find your table and bring the food. We got food all right, but no silverware to be seen and I even tried poking my head into the seemingly deserted kitchen to ask. By the time we got the silverware, our food was cold. I get it that companies are cutting back or maybe not finding enough workers, but Marriott can do better at this location.
