Parco dei Principi Hotel

This hotel is an architectural wonder with its design, spectacular lobby, fountains, etc. But unfortunately it is now run by the government. All the staff are wonderfully pleasant and welcoming, even the curly liar-in-chief at the front desk. Unfortunately the wifi only works in the lobby and is unavailable in the rooms. They lie repeatedly about it saying it’s only on the “second” floor, then that it will be repaired “tomorrow” etc. Also the A/C temperature for each individual room is controlled by a computer at the front desk. You can only try to control the flow of air in your room. When we stayed there in May, we found out they only activate the A/C when the temperature is above 25C (77C) despite asserting they had lowered the temperature in our room. But the temperature in our room was more like 82F to 85F according to my alarm clock thermometer. It felt like a sauna and made it very difficult to sleep. Even opening the window didn’t help with no breeze coming in and the air fan being disabled when the window was open. Plus the hard mattress didn’t help. On top of that, the elevator stopped between floors once and the light went off. Fortunately I had my phone with me and was able to locate the emergency button with its flashlight. When the elevator restarted and I finally arrived at the lobby level, some “manager” was there with some tool, and chided me for pressing the emergency button !!!

Calls itself a resort....it is not. Check into the room and there is no water. Finally fixed, but they never fixed the ant infestation in the bathroom. Our first night there was a wedding at the hotel. At 2 in the morning it sounded like the DJ was standing on our deck, the music was so loud. The following morning the manager says he "asked them" to turn down the volume and play soft music but they would not. He's the manager. Unplug the damn DJ equipment. Another wedding the next night with fireworks at 11 pm, but at least it was over after the fireworks. Service was awful, and it is pretty bad when you are dining in their dining room and they have to steal salt and pepper shakers off the tables because they do no have enough for the restaurant. We traveled all over southern Italy and this was the WORST hotel of our trip

Abbiamo scelto “Il Parco dei Principi” per il nostro matrimonio e non potevamo fare scelta migliore. La qualità del cibo è stata eccezionale: piatti curati, abbondanti e dal sapore impeccabile, che hanno conquistato tutti i nostri ospiti. Il servizio è stato altrettanto impeccabile, con uno staff professionale, attento e sempre sorridente. La cura dei dettagli e l'organizzazione hanno reso tutto perfetto, permettendoci di goderci ogni momento senza preoccupazioni e nonostante eventi climatici avversi, tutto lo staff ha saputo tenere egregiamente testa a tali avversità. Un ringraziamento speciale va al Maitre Nicola per la disponibilità e la cortesia dimostrata, sempre gentile e garbato e allo Chef Domenico sempre sorridente, disponibile e pronto a consigliare i propri clienti con le sue idee innovative e originali. Consigliamo vivamente “Il Parco dei Principi” a chiunque voglia vivere un evento indimenticabile in una location che sa davvero come coccolare i suoi ospiti. Grazie di cuore!

Hotel bellissimo e molto elegante. Staff molto gentile e accogliente. Ci siamo trovati benissimo. Abbiamo conosciuto la signora Marilena persona deliziosa e molto simpatica, ci ha sentire come se fossimo a casa nostra. E tutto lo staff dell'hotel è stato molto disponibile offrendo qualsiasi comodità e relax nei nostri confronti. Ottima la colazione, ricca, abbondante e gustosa. Ne vale la pena ritornarci.

Ontvangst koel en zakelijk .vroegen direct naar id papieren gaven ons de kaart voor de kamer That,s it.het was34 graden heel erg klam en hulp voor de bagage was er nieten moesten zeker 100 meter lopen. Vroeg dus een karretje en kregen die dan bij gratie Gods.kamer ok maar gedateerd ok. Tevens was er savonds een bruiloft van 22 uur tot 01.00 dat horen en je vergis van de herrie.alsof de band naast je speelde. Afgesloten daarna met vuurwerk. Dit was niet met on gecommuniveerd waardoor wij hen niet konden veranderen De volgende ochtend geen warm water om te douchen. Ontbijt ging dan nog wel maar van een gekookt ei nooit gehoord. Wilde savonds een drankje nemen antwoord kan niet bar gesloten. Daar staat je dan.een hotel 4 km uit het centrum van Rochella Je voelt je hier totaal niet thuis en is op een ding gericht grote partijen zoals bruiloften,bussen en seminars. De individuele klant is peanuts voor ze. Wij reizen te lang en veel om te weten hoe het wel kan.

Un matrimonio da FAVOLA. Abbiamo festeggiato il nostro matrimonio tutto a dir poco eccezionale, dal buffet stracolmo di pietanze,al servizio al tavolo, tutte le portate comprese.per non parlare della cordialità ed educazione del mâitré NICOLA sempre a nostra disposizione. Un Grazie allo chef Pasqualino ed al direttore un gran signore,ed a tutto lo staff del parco dei principi! Armando figliomeni
