Tenuta San Pietro Luxury Hotel

Bravo!!!! This was our first visit to Italy and Tenuta San Pietro was our first destination. We felt welcomed and were treated to this fabulous family operated estate. The food, wine and accommodations were exceptional. The staff, especially Bertina, we’re warm and anticipated our every need. Excursions such as the truffle hunt with the farms dogs was amazing followed by the cooking class given by the chef Valentino will remain in our memory forever. Our tour, offered by Luxury Italian Tours provided guided tours of Spello, Assisi, Montepulciano and Pienza. Magnificent!!!

Nice farmhouse with 11 rooms in the hills of Lucca. Perfect view from the terrace to the neighbouring hills and the city. Staff is very kind. Food was excellent. Swimming pool is also great to have. Free parking is possible but have space to max 5 cars. Check out time (10h) is a bit early.

Lovely property. very friendly staff. Clean rooms and very big. It has a nice swimming pool area and it is within walking distance of the little village. It has also a restaurant which attracts not only guests but also locals.

Fabulous hillside hotel, 20 minutes drive from Lucca with amazing views of olive groves and vineyards. We stayed two nights in this charming hotel during our Tuscan Tour. The staff here are very special indeed and we just want to thank the delightful Elisa for all her kindness and efficient helpfulness to make our stay so enjoyable. Also to charming Francesco, so knowledgable and informative on wine - loved his choice of music in the bar area … The hotel is wonderful situated for walking and taking in the incredible views across the valley to Lucca and beyond - just breathtaking ! An easy drive to Pisa airport and the motorway made it a great base for travelling around Tuscany. The pool area offered lots of seating and shade for a small hotel and the outdoor dining terrace was fabulous for breakfast, snacks and sundowners in April ! The chef’s menu was packed full of local produce and although perhaps limited in choice, this was made up for by the delicious meals we were served in the lovely dining room. The only negative item I might highlight is that although the bedrooms were very comfortable and modern in decor, the en-suites were accessed by several steps which might not be appropriate for some guests. All in all a wonderful end to our Tuscan trip and I hope one day to return.

Les photos présentés sur le site sont trompeuses. En effet, l'ensemble est vieillissant. Pas de restauration proposée à l'exception du vendredi et du samedi... (nous sommes arrivés le dimanche). Localisation de l'hôtel éloignée des visites et notamment du Lucques. Accueil très moyen notamment du fait d'une absence de personnel y compris pour un service au bar. Bref à éviter

Non vale le 4 stelle superiore.. Con quelle stelle ci si aspetta un po' di attenzione verso gli ospiti e verso i dettagli..arrivando scopriamo che il parcheggio è piccolo quindi dobbiamo lasciare la macchina lungo la strada ..il ragazzo che ci ha accolto senza raccontare o spiegare cosa offrisse l' albergo ci porta in camera ..entrando notiamo che in bagno vi era da sistemare il piano della doccia ( da tirare giù) ..poi manca il phon . Nella lampada del comodino giacevano degli insetti morti ..per .colazione bisogna compilare un foglio dove segnare l' ora in cui si vuole fare e le cose che si vuole mangiare ( lista poco fornita ..o generica come torta del giorno) ..in camera vi è un decoder attaccato alla TV che di notte emette una luce fastidiosa, bisogna staccare la spina ..il personale bisogna andare a cercarlo ..anche se la reception dicono dovrebbe essere aperta 24 h .. In poche parole non ne vale le stelle ..e naturalmente il ristorante è aperto solo 2 Giorni a settimana
