Il Giardino Grande - Dimora in Salento

A superb small hotel, beautifully designed and set in magnificent grounds. Valentina is a wonderful host and her staff are a credit to her. If you want a luxurious base to explore this part of Puglia, look no further. We stayed in the Salice family suite - combination of the Ulivo and Loto rooms. Perfect for our family of 4. Valentina recommended beaches and restaurants and looked after us royally. We loved the pool and the poolside bar - 5 star facilities and service.

Wow!! What an incredible hotel and a wonderful place. I’ve stayed a a few hotels this year including the incredible le Bristol in Paris and this has to be the most enjoyable. The hotel is really quite faultless, from Valentina’s communication prior to arrival, the wonderful staff, the interior design and the serenity of the whole place, all amazing. I often use Mr and Mrs Smith a reference for boutique hotels, they’ve rarely let me down and this again was quite the find. Don’t be confused about the lack of trip advisor reviews currently (a lot more on google) or the extremely well priced rates, the hotel is only in its second season, it’s still relatively undiscovered but a real hidden gem.( I’m not sure it will stay hidden for long!!) Valentina was not only a great host but even when we were out and needed some guidance/tips we could watts app her and she’d reply very quickly. Her renovation of the whole hotel is stunning and you can tell by her customer service that she’s worked in some of Italy’s best hotels prior. It was great also to be able to have lunch by the pool and cocktails/drinks until 7pm, all of which were very well priced and delicious. If you’re planning on staying in the area then don’t think twice as you won’t be disappointed !!

Une semaine simplement parfaite! L’hôtel est très bien situé au calme dans les terres à quelques minutes de Gallipoli. Le bâtiment a été entièrement refait avec beaucoup de goût et compte seulement 6 chambres. Le parc immense autour avec 200 oliviers donne un charme incroyable à l’endroit. Une piscine gigantesque au milieu des oliviers (18m!) avec un service incroyable toute la journée vous permet de déjeuner ou boire des cocktails. Petit déjeuner inclus avec des produits locaux frais et délicieux, et plats très bien faits à la demande. L’hôtesse des lieux Valentina, que nous remercions infiniment pour ses conseils, son professionnalisme et son service conciergerie platinum, nous a indiqué les endroits à visiter (petites perles locales) mais également à pu nous conseiller des restaurants qui correspondaient parfaitement à ce que nous voulions a chaque dîner (de Gallipoli à Otranto en passant par SM de Leuca!). Nous reviendrons sans aucun doute l’année prochaine!
