Villa Poggio di Gaville is a 10/10 stay. We had about 2 months to plan our wedding and Samira helped us every step of the way. With 10 of our closest family and friends, our stay was exceptional. The wedding itself was everything we could have ever asked for. Samira and Jamal were extremely accommodating, the most hospitable hosts I’ve ever met. They have such a calmness about them and make you feel stress free and at home. The Villa is beautiful with a mix of all different cultures. The rooms are quite comfortable. The food exceptional. Every evening we shared a meal that was beyond our expectations. We cannot thank them enough and cannot sing high enough praises for everything they did for us. Grazie Mille. Thank you for the memory of a lifetime.

We had such a lovely (and delicious) time in our week at Villa Poggio do Gaville. We had dinner several times at the villa and were so pleased with the high quality of the ingredients, care with which they were prepared, and variety of dishes. The sense of community that Samira fosters at the villa was evident in the impromptu gatherings of diverse guests in the library. The pool was a welcome oasis and we really appreciated our evening dips to cool off and rinse off the adventure of the day. Just make sure to bring bug spray. The little almost invisible bugs are “very effective” as Samira said! 😆 Thank you for a memorable and delicious visit to the Chianti region.

Samira and Chef, thank you so much for such a wonderful experience! You both created such a warm, inviting and comfortable environment for our stay. Great suggestions for area activities! Such fantastic dinners! Some of the best food I’ve ever eaten! This Villa provided us a great room, a clean and beautiful pool and 5 star food! I highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a tremendous Tuscany vacation. Fantastico!

What a grand experience! Chef and Samira were fantastic hosts. The curated food was delicious. See pics below. The pool was just what was needed at the end of our long hot days. Also, if you love AC, it rocks here! It's a great spot to hit many areas of Chianti and Florence.

A very peaceful and relaxing break. Beautiful secluded situation. pool and gardens. Rooms comfortable and clean, we enjoyed chilling on our terrace. Jamal and Samira are friendly hosts. Would be happy to return. Jamil’s home cooked foccacia is the best…

Magical retreat in the heart of Tuscany where Samira and Chef Jamal made us feel like family. Our 5 day yoga retreat was uniquely curated with gourmet farm to table meals, wine tasting, 4 course cooking class with Jamal and Giovanni, relaxing by the pool, Siena, San Gimignano, and Cortona tours, daily yoga…. and as if this was not enough, 17 wild ponies roaming the fields around the property.

Villa Poggio di Gaville is an absolute gem! The hosts are incredibly warm and welcoming, making you feel at home from the moment you arrive. The food is nothing short of delicious, with every meal a delightful culinary experience. The villa boasts a large pool surrounded by beautiful flowers, providing a serene and picturesque setting for relaxation. Every aspect of our stay exceeded expectations, and we left feeling rejuvenated and pampered. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a tranquil and friendly retreat - just one hour from Florence but it’s perfectly placed in the Tuscan hills.

Look no further for the perfect villa in Tuscany. This villa is everything and more. To the kindness of Jamal and Samira, to the amazing dinner courses, and to the serene surroundings, it was easy to fall in love with immediately. The grounds are impeccably kept, the rooms are clean, and the atmosphere is quaint. If you love food, and are looking for that quintessential Tuscany retreat, book here. You will not regret it.

We had a lovely stay at Villa Poggio di Gaville. The atmosphere is great, and the details mirror the hosts’ love and passion for this job. Samira’s wonderful smile and kindness are able to make you feel at home, no matter where you come from. The perfect blend of cultures, architectures and ambiences gives the whole place a touch of magic. Definitely recommended, in all its aspects: rooms, atmosphere, outdoors, food (we had an amazing dinner), services. We’ll come back, for sure!
