We stayed in Suite 210 (Building B) for a week over Christmas. Having visited TCI multiple times in the past, we were aware that the resort would be quite far north. We wanted a more secluded experience than Grace Bay, so we rented a car, thinking the distance wouldn't be a significant issue. However, after a week, we realized that driving 30 minutes each way meant wasting 2 hours of our vacation daily (we would drive to the nice beaches in the morning, return, and then drive back for dinner). It was a considerable amount of time to spend on driving. While our older kids were patient, I can't imagine doing that with small kids. One might think that staying at the resort's beaches is a solution. The problem is that this beach is the worst on TCI—seaweed (it does get cleaned daily!), dark water, and windy conditions. Heading a bit south to Taylor Beach or Hidden Beach is like night and day; it doesn't even compare. Even Grace Bay is significantly better. We did spend afternoons at the resort beach, but it paled in comparison to almost any other beach on TCI. That's probably the reason we wouldn't return. Everything else was great, but the beach here is just not up to 'TCI-quality.' Our room was nice and clean, with a well-stocked kitchen. However, they only provide a couple of detergent pods for laundry and a tiny bit of shampoo and toilet paper. There is no cleaning service; we got one for an extra fee ($140) and then we ended up washing our own towels and vacuuming sand throughout our stay. There is a restaurant on-site... theoretically. I wouldn't rely on it for your meals since it was just getting opened and one day it closed unexpectedly, although I understand many people cook their own. Grills are available. The pool is much larger than we expected, and there is a hot tub. Overall, the room itself is absolutely fine - I just think we greatly underestimated the distance from everything; and also I would definitely stay at a nicer beach next time.
