Hotel Los Españoles Plus

I did not give this 5 stars as I feel there are a few things that need improvement. Don't get me wrong, I highly recommend staying here, if you are looking for a boutique hotel and not one of the fancy high rise chains. One thing that was 5 star …was the staff. Terrific people. Everyone we met, whether the front desk ,late night person, spa attendant, housekeeping, everyone was very friendly and helpful. And the front desk person was very patient with all my questions. We had one of their suites, which was nice and reasonably large and well appointed with couches, eating table, desk and large bed. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom had plenty of space. It had a bathtub shower combination. The room has windows on two of the sides so you get a good view from there…but the hot sun would come in and heat the place faster than the AC could cool it. As the AC wont stay on without your key in the slot near the door, we kept one there while we were gone as otherwise it would take hours to cool the place down. We also had to make sure the drapes were drawn when we left in the AM as the sun would be really hot in the afternoon. The AC is a single wall unit, which does a good job cooling the main area of the living room and bedroom, but as you walk to the desk area or bathroom, the area can be a bit hot. So they really need either a second AC unit, or better yet a central air unit. The main issue we had is the layout of the room, likely due to building structural elements and the building being not that big, was a bit of a maze to get around (could not even move my roller bag around without picking it up to turn sideways.) This layout was part of the issues with the AC. But also, at night, I had to leave a light on near the bathroom otherwise I would likely bump into the walls trying to go through the maze to the bathroom in the middle of the night. Without the pillars, which they cannot do anything about, you would have a terrific large open suite (not that it was not good ,but …) A similar issue with the breakfast buffet. Due to the building structure and where they have the buffet, its spread out over several rooms and nooks and crannies. That, I believe, also limited the extent of the breakfast selection. Wifi worked well (they had a repeater in the room. smart) Plenty of plug outlets where you need them given all the gadgets we have these days. The breakfast buffet was ok, but not as extensive as most places we stayed. While it had the usual assortment of breads, cereals, meats and cheeses, along with scrambled eggs and bacon or sausage, the assortment of pastries and other times was a bit lean. Part of the issue is, they don’t have a lot of space as it is and have to spread things out over several rooms. The location is pretty good as you are in a residential area, seemed very safe, and you are but a 5 min walk to the big Costanera Center mall, where there are tons of shops and restaurants, including a Jumbo super market

Wonderful hotel with great staff. Alvaro in reception was particularly helpful. The hotel is great with good facilities. The rooftop pool is small but perfectly formed. The lovely lady who looks after guests at the pool is also great. The breakfast was very good although for me the coffee was too weak. The rooms are spacious and I'd recommend the junior suits. We had room 402 and it was great. The staff were all really helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The location is handy for sky costanera and everything around it and there are 2 metro stations in walking distance.

This hotel is a real gem. Lots of local amenities and short walk to the Japanese Garden in the park. Staff are first class and were very knowledgeable , helpful and spoke English. We enjoyed a delicious meal in the quiet dining room thanks to the staff who could understand my dietary restrictions. Next time we are in this city, this will be our first choice.

Muy lindo y confortable hotel. Cerca del shoping costanera center al cual vas caminando. Cochera techada incluida. Nos tocó habitación de planta baja con antesala con sofá cama ya q eramos 3. Patio privado con juego de jardín para sentarse a tomar algo. Camas cómodas y amplias. Cuenta con spa. Sauna seco y húmedo jacuzzi y pileta al aire libre. Hay que reservar para el jacuzzi y sauna previamente. Cuenta con restaurante . La habitacion Cuenta con cafetera frigobar caja fuerte y secador de pelo

De modo geral achei o hotel ok, deixou a desejar considerando o valor que foi pago. Pontos positivos: Ótima localização, quarto bem amplo, bom atendimento. Pontos negativos: Apesar do quarto ser amplo os móveis são antigos, café da manhã considerando a categoria do hotel achei péssimo... opções limitadas e qualidade baixa. Uma manhã sai do quarto e tinha uma bandeja com prato no corredor que não foi recolhida (provavelmente do serviço de quarto da noite anterior)

No comecinho agora de março/22 meu marido e eu nos hospedamos no hotel por três noites e foi tudo excelente! Nos deram um upgrade de quarto, que era enorme, super silencioso e com uma cama espetacular (quarto 413), muito confortável e grande (meu marido é comprido! rs). Desfrutamos bastante das áreas comuns, como piscina, jacuzzi (que tem uma vista linda da cidade) e sauna. Todos os funcionários muito gentis e prestativos! Inclusive um dos dias que estava muito calor e ficamos o dia todo andando pela cidade tivemos a grata surpresa de retornar para o quarto e o mesmo estar já ambientado com ar condicionado pelo time de camareiras. A localização é ótima! Fizemos tudo a pé e de metrô por lá devido a essa facilidade e por ser uma região que nos sentimos super seguros. Recomendo muito! Único ponto de alinhamento de expectativas é o café da manhã, é no estilo americano e não de buffet, então com opções mais restritas, mas mesmo assim tinha tudo o que julgamos "essencial", então de fato não é um ponto ruim, apenas de alinhamento de expectativas. Não afetou em nada nossa impressão da estadia no hotel e voltaríamos com certeza.
