Papantonia Hotel

We arrived after 11pm to be welcomed by Thomas, a lovely bloke with a dry sense of humor. After checking in, he told us we could leave our cases and go get a drink at the bar before it closed, which we did. The room was quite basic but clean and had a comfortable sofa, chair and beds. The cleaners came in to empty the bins and tidy the beds every day and we normally had a lovely lady with red hair who spoke little English but smiled all the time. The hotel manager, Michael, introduced himself to us at breakfast and made a point of speaking to us whenever he saw us. He does this with everyone and is a very hands on manager, keeping an eye on things and making sure that everyone is happy. Nothing was too much trouble for him, we told him we were vegetarians and he made a point of telling us what to look out for each day on the buffet and even bringing special dishes to our table. Lovely man. The food was fresh and well cooked (though we occasionally got the odd dry bread roll) and the little cakes were delicious. Fresh fruit was very nice but no real fresh fruit juices. I really liked the pool, it's a good size to swim lengths (missing that already) The bar and restaurant staff were all very friendly and there was an overall relaxing feel to the place. The hotel is nicely situated away from the busy centre but within a comfortable 5- 8 minute walk to bars, restaurants and shops. There is a supermarket 2 minutes away. You may find the odd chipped tile but for a 3* hotel it's clean, comfortable and very welcoming.

Come up trumps with this holiday ! Ideal for a cheap week away, could find no fault at all, everything exceeded our expectations. Plenty of sunbeds, umbrellas, food and drink on tap what else could you wish for ! Manager was always around making sure everything was okay, maybe the staff in the restaurant could smile a bit more but otherwise no problems. Would definitely go back and thoroughly recommend it.

Myself and 2 friends have just returned from this Hotel this morning, we arrived in the early hours, was greeted by very nice man on the reception desk (Thomas)..The Manager and his staff were warm and friendly, He came and introduced himself to us, we all and a fantastic time, The pool area was kept clean, The pool itself was warm, so no sudden shocks when getting in. The beach was a short walk from the hotel, there is a supermarket outside the hotel, and a really nice bar close by which has live Acts, Kareoke, and served amazing food. We would recommend this Hotel We will defintely be returning

We stated here for a week in August. Amazing place. Manager amazing. Hotel so clean and good great. Beach short walk I would highly recommend thank you so much for your hospitality. Anyone thinking is out of don’t hesitate for the price. I wouldn’t go if price was higher than I paid. £2600 for 4

Visited my self and two children age 7/8 . Hotel clean. Beds comfortable. Any issues soon rectified. Was a cracked tile to pool sorted same evening. Food basic but usual all inclusive. Plenty. Manager always present introduced himself. Nothing too much. Entertainment was poor especially evenings. But would go back.

Really disappointed. It's not worth to go really. Pay more and stay somewhere better. Breakfast was OK. Snacks was OK. Lunch and Dinner very poor and food quality very low. Cleaners also were rood. I will never visit 3 stars hotel.....................
