Villa Marine Guest House

The hostess is extremely warm-hearted and also a nice conversationalist. After our short stay she even said goodbye to us with a hug. I have never had a location with a better view. Unbelievable! This panorama combined with the sound of the sea offers a scenic experience. We will be back - but next time for a whole week!

We had a room with a jacuzzi on the patio which we used the afternoon of our arrival and first thing in the morning. we enjoyed the warm bubbles whilst watching the waves break against the rocks and the clouds drift by whilst listening to the sounds of the ocean, both relaxing and invigorating. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfy and large. We bathroom was great and the shower worked well. We enjoyed having bath robes and a fridge in the room. The views were spectacular. Breakfast was tasty and we had plenty of food for our needs. The owner and staff were friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and would happily go back on our next trip to South Africa.

Our stay at Villa Marine Guest House in Pringle Bay was wonderful. Nestled right by the sea, the proximity to the ocean offered stunning views and the perfect soundtrack of waves crashing against the rocks. It’s a haven of peace and quiet, ideal for anyone looking to truly relax and unwind. The room was beautifully appointed, blending comfort with elegant design, and every detail was thoughtfully considered. Waking up to the view of the ocean from our room felt like a dream, and we could have spent hours just soaking it all in. The staff were welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. One of the highlights was the freshly prepared breakfast each morning, which was both delicious and plentiful, a perfect way to start the day. For those evenings when we didn’t feel like venturing out, we loved the option to order a cheese platter—a delightful treat to enjoy while taking in the beautiful surroundings. The honesty bar was another fantastic touch, offering a great selection of drinks to enjoy at your leisure. Villa Marine’s peaceful location, combined with its luxurious comfort and outstanding hospitality, made our stay unforgettable. We left feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. Highly recommended!

Bizarrely beautiful view. Very comfortable beds and nice spacious bathroom. Beautifully decorated building. Excellent breakfast and very friendly and knowledgeable service. I would advise anybody to come here in a heartbeat. But especially for couples it is a dream.

My husband and I stayed at Villa Marine Guest house in celebration of our wedding anniversary. We spent two nights and thought the location is amazing, the room and the view from it fabulous and the jaccuzzi is just that added bonus. However, there was a few things we didn't appreciate. Firstly, once booked, when communicating via E-mail, the response time was terrible. We had asked about the option of ordering a platter and waited 5 days for a response on what the available options were. We replied with our order and didn't hear back, then asked for confirmation and only got a response two weeks later. Secondly, the manager (Lizette) had a remark every morning when we arrived for breakfast. We were informed that breakfast was served until 10 am. Being on vacation for the first time this year, we decided to sleep in. We arrived for breakfast at 9:30 am and was very loudly greeted with a "oh, you finally decided to join us!". On the second morning we decided to go earlier, so we arrived at 8:30 am and was greeted, once again very loudly with "a little earlier this morning are we?". We felt uncomfortable. Instead of feeling like guests, we felt like school children being scolded in front of the whole class - not an ideal feeling for being on vacation. When ordering breakfast, I noticed that some options had avocado on it. I ordered something that didn't, and asked for a small piece of avocado to be added, but was told to stick to the menu. On our last evening, there was a group of people that booked the room directly above us. They ended up being so loud and obnoxious, that we could barely sleep. Even though the place is stunning, this is an experience that neither of us want to return to.

We enjoyed our stay. The views are amazing. They were so kind to pack breakfast for us as we needed to leave early on a whale watching tour.
