Royal Tree Guest House

The pool was not in condition to be used. Also no pool chairs . We had to request an upgrade for our room because the booking system doesn’t give you options on which room you would like to book in. There is no where to hang your clothes , so you live on your luggage’s. We had to request a fridge for our room after upgrading. No couch or chairs inside the rooms so everything you do you are forced to use the bed. The breakfast was nice average breakfast. The place is clean. Also very safe. Book the spa in advance. Very quite also.

We received two single beds its bad cause we are a couple we were never even asked or informed about it prior about it. Also, I feel that its false advertising cause the rooms look nothing like on the internet. The open shower also was a bit of a problem cause after showering the whole bathroom was full of water on the floor. I had to clean before my hubby could shower as well

The room was still under renovation, nobody told me before i rented it.. the taps were licking, shower didn't have a stopper thus splashing water everywhere. There was no she bin in the bathroom, we needed one, no dustbin anywhere, no mirror in the room, no side lamp, we needed one.. towels were hard, old & looked like they were not properly washed. i whished someone could have warned of the state of that room before i booked it, i couldn't wait to leave..

Hi, My stay at The Royal tree guest house was really unpleasant, I did not enjoy staying there, infact I wanted to move myself from there and go book somewhere else on the first day after viewing the room that they gave me, I believe one should be given a choice on which room to sleep in that will be most comfortable especially when it is of the same rate. Firstly, I was given a room that had no air conditioning but had a fan that just blew hot air all the way with a bed that made sounds, I had to light that fan all night due to the room being humid of which it made no difference, especially again because there are no windows by the shower area. I asked later on the guy who was on shift to show me the rest of the rooms and he did, apparently there was a vacant, well furbished room with air conditioning and it in good state with the same rate that I paid for the other room, I asked him why can't he move me into that one since its vacant and all he could say was that '' Next time then I should know which room to select when booking" I mean how does one know which room to book and he refused to put me in that room....The level of service for me was just appalling and for the fact that you can just tell a first-time guest such things did not sit well with because I myself is also from a service orientated background, I worked in 5* and 4* Hotels and guest houses and have never turned a guest down , you as a business need to ensure guests come back because of the service and experience they get, I am not going back to that guest house that's one thing for sure The management team does not even greet you when you passing or let alone when they find you sitting with someone on the premises, but the staff are able to greet you, and everyone one of them greeted me humbly, what kind of treatment is that, this was a totally different treatment compared to other guest houses I have been in. You need to change your behavior towards certain individuals or people!! I was not impressed nor happy on my 2 days stay!!
