Holiday House Gilda

Antonella was very helpful throughout the whole process- she allowed us to check in early and organized our transfer. Gillda is the nicest lady also. Amazing views, clean and comfortable and very relaxing. It’s about a 20 min walk into town but there is a bus every hour or so too which was very cheap.

My husband & I stayed at Casa Gilda 18/7/22 for a night and fell in love with the place. We were greeted by Jada & her younger sister (sorry if I didn’t get the name right) as Antonella was out that day. They were polite, very hospitable and helped us order our dinner in. Even brought me some milk for tea as soon as we arrived. This little apartment has everything you need with spectacular views. We spent a lot of time sitting at the balcony enjoying the amazing views. Parking is available at €20 a day. The apartment is located on the outskirts of Positano. It has everything one needs home away from home. Next time we visit Amalfi I will most certainly stay longer as it was paradise.

l'appartamento si trova in una posizione abbastanza tattica da Positano, fuori dal centro ma servito da una navetta (non tanto comoda perché ce ne sono davvero poche in orari molto strani) ma a circa 15 minuti dal centro del paese (peccato il dover camminare a bordo strada in curva) ma tutto sommato ha tutti i confort necessari. L'appartamento ha due camere da letto + un lettino e uno splendido terrazzo da cui è visibile tutta Positano e dove nella bella stagione è possibile cenare a picco sul mare. Ci siamo trovati molto bene e i prezzi sono più che onesti... un po' meno apprezzato il costo del parcheggio (30 euro a notte) e consiglierei di far trovare un paio di acque potabili in casa. Purtroppo a Positano l'acqua non è potabile e il primo giorno ci è stato difficilissimo procurarci l'acqua prima dell'arrivo!
