What a wonderful experience in Porto. Mariana made us feel at home and we enjoyed our delightful stay at the Na Travessa! Room/ bedding were very comfortable. Our hostess was available to answer any questions or concerns. The breakfast each morning included a fine selection of bread, cheese, meats, eggs, fruit, delightful homemade jams. The location was central to our outings. Sao Bento trains conveniently located just down the street. Dining options all around. Lots to see and all within walking from the stay, we would book again in Porto! We took advantage of the scheduled transport to airport offered by Mariana, the driver was on time and very convenient service. This location is a large tourist traffic area, so there are some homeless folks hanging nearby but we never felt uncomfortable nor were bothered by them.

Na Travessa suites is one of the nicest boutique hotels in which I've stayed. It is perfectly located for a short stay in the heart of old Porto. The small rooms have been creatively outfitted so as to maximize the space & the whole hotel is a tasteful and thoughtful reflection of its owner Mariana. Mariana couldn't have been more helpful and caring, helping with transportation and making recommendations on what to see in Porto. She was a great resource from the outset and went out of her way to make me feel comfortable and welcome at the hotel. She and Johanna provided a superb breakfast which was a little different every morning. It was a pleasure to stay where people truly care about their guest's experience. Would go back there in a heartbeat.

Lovely boutique style hotel. Very clean. Exceptional breakfast. Wonderful staff who really care about their clients. Would highly recommend. Very centrally located (only 2 minutes from Sao Bento train station). I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

I enjoyed my stay here. It's a tiny boutique hotel (8 rooms) centrally located in Porto, close to the São Bento railway station. The rooms have everything that you need, but they are quite small. I'd be OK for two nights, but probably not more. The surrounding area is being renovated, removing the old marketplace and replacing it with a park, so it should be more attractive in the future. Mariana, the host, is charming and helpful. Plus you get a cooked-to-order breakfast. It's a great location for exploring Porto. One note: all of the guest rooms are up one or two flights of stairs, so this would not be a good choice for anyone with limited mobility.

My seven-year-old son and I stayed at Na Travessa Suites for five nights at the end of March. This place is an absolute hidden gem and a must-stay if you are in Porto and looking for a quiet place with beautiful views and a wonderful breakfast. The entire team was so helpful and kind to us, making sure we had everything we needed from help with our luggage, extra items for breakfast, suggestions for dinner and the list goes on. It poured rain the entire time we were in Porto and our room was a sanctuary from the weather. The view from our bed was just incredible and was such a wonderful way to wake up each morning.

We loved our stay at Na Travessa. The place is beautiful and our room had a very comfortable bed and wonderful shower. We were able to walk everywhere. But most important was the attention and dedication of the staff. When we arrived, a staff person went over a map of the city and pointed out places of interest and best way to walk there (when she learned it was our first trip to Porto). The breakfast was simply delicious - amazing!!! The owner, Marianna, has put so much love into Na Travessa and truly cares about the stays of all of her guests. We recommend whole heartedly!

We loved our stay at Na Travessa Suites! Thank you Mariana for offering such a personalized stay. We had an early morning tour planned our first day and Mariana ensured we had fresh coffee and breakfast before we left. The daily breakfast choices were diverse, fresh and delicious. The house has been beautifully renovated and restored. The rooms are very well appointed and the view from our balcony of the city was the perfect way to wake up every morning. The proximity to restaurants, amenities and the waterfront is great. Thank you Mariana for helping to make our time in Porto so memorable. And also thanks to Joana for greeting us on our first day, giving us an orientation of the area and seeing us off on our last morning. Debbie & Warren from Canada

We spent 2 nights in this wonderful small hotel and we highly recommend it It is very stylish and comfortable and the views are amazing It’s very conveniently located near the train station and it’s easy to walk everywhere The breakfast is delicious Mariana, the owner, is really welcoming and friendly and she goes to great length to look after her guests Na Travessa is a hidden gem in Porto
