Enjoy a unique stay in one of Portland’s most published and celebrated home and acre garden. This serenely beautiful 19th century Queen Anne Farmhouse in the heart of Portland has been completely re-imagined by the artists and craftsmen of Lonesomeville to create a private world all it’s own. Each aspect was carefully designed and hand built to make the entire acre a unique piece of art. The first floor features a huge kitchen with banks of French pane windows looking out over the original farmstead and garden. A gas fireplace in the kitchen adds a warm ambiance to any evening. The kitchen also features two large service pantries with complimentary espresso, french press coffee, locally made bagels, orange juice, assorted wines, beer and other beverages. The dinning room features walls of enormous French pane widows looking onto the completely private gardens. The front rooms feature a large fireplace, comfortable seating and unique art. A large front porch, deep back porch and kitchen side sun porch round out the many ways to enjoy this amazing house. On the second story enjoy two large bedrooms with queen and double beds, mezzanine library stocked with hand selected books, a cozy gas fireplace, side sun porch/sitting room, and completely restored bathroom with a claw foot tub/shower all carefully hand crafted. NOTE: Although we encourage all of our guests to enjoy the house and grounds with friends and family during their stay, due to neighborhood restrictions we are not able to host large events on the property.
