Immaculately clean and impeccable service. Food was also excellent. Very personalized check in experience, the view of the beach was also great! We came just my wife and I, not sure how it would be with kids but we had a fantastic stay. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay here and would highly recommend to anyone. The staff were so attentive and helped in every way possible The food was exceptional as were the cocktails Our sea view from our room was beautiful Only downside was there was no hot water on our last day and the cleaners didn’t replace the facecloths that we used on the first day Overall we had a fabulous time here

Wonderful staff and excellent service. We enjoyed our three days at the Bela Vista Hotel and Spa. The hotel is such a convenient location with beautiful views of the beach, the ocean, and the surrounding cliffs. The history of the hotel was impressive and the buildings have been beautifully restored and maintained. We took advantage of the spa and treated ourselves to the use of the facilities, the talented staff, and the relaxing treatments. I have long wanted to stay in a Relais & Chateau hotel. When I decided to spend my birthday in Portugal, I found this little jewel box. The staff was professional from the first moment, I got the room I requested in advance and wonderful gifts, champagne was waiting for us when we arrived. The gastronomy is phenomenal, the breakfast is sumptuous on the terrace. The pool is a dream. Don't think too much, just book here!

the moment we arrived at the Bela vista hotel and spa we were greeted by Joel with champagne I knew we were where we belonged! The hotel is gorgeous. It is warm and inviting. We ate in the bistro the first night and it was my favorite meal in the algarve. The staff is stupendous. Patrice , Joel and the rest of the staff are professional friendly and you can tell they love their jobs. They make staying there very special. I would recommend this hotel to all . Rating a 11 out of 10!!

Bela Vista is a beautiful boutique hotel overlooking an expansive beachfront with spectacular ocean views. Rooms are cozy and well-appointed with attention to detail. Staff are friendly, knowledgeable and keen to make your stay a memorable one. Located backing onto the downtown core, close to an active nightlife - great if you are into that! If not, request a quieter room facing the ocean (rooms are sound-proofed if you keep your windows closed!) Recommend renting a car to get here so you can enjoy a scenic drive through the Alentejo and Algarve regions, (if coming from Evora, stop in Monsaraz enroute), or along the coast, taking a route through coastal villages. From Portimao, visit Salema and Lagos old town, which makes for a great day trip — it’s a short, pleasant drive with options for scenic detours (a must). In the other direction, check out Vila Real de Santo António bordering the Spanish coast. Ubers work too.

From the moment you arrive, the impeccable service, refined ambience, and beautifully appointed rooms create a truly special experience. If possible, opt for a room in the main building with a sea view—it's well worth it. The views are stunning and add an extra layer of serenity to your stay. The Michelin-starred restaurant is another highlight, offering a dining experience that matches the setting in quality and charm. For us, this was one of the most memorable and exceptional places we've stayed in southern Portugal—a rare combination of history, luxury, and genuine hospitality.

Bela Vista is a beautiful property with an exceptional spa and first class service. The on site team emphasizes service and hospitality. The only problem was using the private car service. While they have nice vehicles, the car was quite late for our departure causing us excessive stress. It was a disappointing way to conclude an otherwise fantastic trip.

Excellent service, beautiful grounds, lovely accommodations. Check-in process was simple and Eduardo was most friendly and professional. The tour of the property was appreciated. Breakfast was outstanding. Excellent location with restaurants and shops nearby

The entire place was simply AMAZING! So cozy and so chic and decorated so tastefully that I wanted to capture a pic of every nook and cranny! VERY nice and helpful staff- they really go above and beyond. I cannot imagine anyone having a complaint and if they do, they just be those type of people who are looking for something for free because our stay was flawless, minus the weather, but that was not your fault. The food was also AMAZING and so fresh. We did not experience dinner with you b/c the menu options were a bit more out the range of food we typically eat. The ONLY tiny thing - the sun finally came out and we were so happy to leave the room and sit by the pool. I was so comfortable and picked out a spot so I gave the other 3 couples their space. Then a couple decided to sit down right next to us which was fine, but he out up a cigarette and all of the smoke blew right in my direction. Back home in the USA, they usually smoking from areas where it would bother other guests. I understand you have rules and that is totally fine, but that was the ONLY issue I had in 4 days. Thank you for a LOVELY stay!!! We enjoyed it so much1

Although the hotel is located right in the heart of the bustling beach strip it did not feel that way. Nice to have access to restaurants, etc right out the gate but it felt more remote, thank goodness. Staff was amazing, so friendly and accommodating.

Top notch service at this beautiful hotel. Everyone really worked to make the entire time spent there special and comfortable. The restaurant is also AMAZING! It is expensive, but a once in a lifetime experience. The location on the beach is incredible. It is in a sort of "cheesy" location, but once you are behind the gates that all goes away!
