Hotel Bendinat in Mallorca is one of those rare gems that feels like a home away from home. Having stayed here multiple times over the years, I can confidently say that it offers a perfect blend of understated luxury, Mediterranean charm, and tranquility. The location is simply unbeatable—perched right on the coastline, with stunning views of the turquoise waters of the Bay of Palma. Waking up to the sound of the waves and having breakfast on the terrace overlooking the sea is something I look forward to every time I visit. The hotel’s lush gardens, with their towering palm trees and cozy lounge areas, create an atmosphere of total relaxation. The rooms are elegantly designed in a classic Mediterranean style, with whitewashed walls, wooden accents, and large windows that let in plenty of natural light. Many of them come with private terraces, perfect for unwinding with a glass of wine in the evening. While the décor is timeless, the hotel has managed to maintain a fresh and well-kept feel over the years. One of the highlights of every stay is dining at Las Terrazas de Bendinat, the hotel’s restaurant. Sitting right by the sea, it offers some of the best seafood dishes on the island. Their paella and grilled fish are a must-try, and the service is always warm and attentive. There’s nothing quite like enjoying a long, leisurely lunch with a view of the shimmering water. I can’t fault this hotel, I had to leave a review based on my last family stay. During a very busy peak of season for the staff at Hotel Bendinat, I asked them to accommodate more family members visiting on top of my original bookings, lots of last minute dining requests, and late night support with a sick child. Not once did they fail to accommodate us, nothing was too much trouble for them and everything was done to an excellent standard and right first time…. I couldn’t fault a thing from the front desk (Ramon), to the Restaurant (lead by Marco) to the cleanliness of the rooms and service (which is exceptionally delivered). The stand out for me at this Hotel is the Assistant GM, Carlos. He takes time to walk around to see guests, nothing is too much trouble and he works very hard to get things right for everyone. He is kind, courteous, Very professional and humble. This guy is the best Hotel manager I’ve come across, if not only for his willingness to take criticism and come back with clear resolutions and ensure consistency of standards. Very relaxing and peaceful stay. Good location with terrace restaurant overlooking the sea. The food was excellent with generous portions and with a very good choice and of 5 star standard. The staff in all departments were very good and seemed to enjoy their work. Area round the pool was well kept and a great place to have a drink or lunch. We would certainly visit again, great hotel
