Leo and his team at Ana Mandora provided us with four days of superb comfort and relaxation, with excellent individually tailored food and drink, good conversation when we felt like it, and the overall feeling that we were guests of someone who knows the hospitality industry intimately and is dedicated to ensuring that guests have a unique positive experience. The name Ana Mandara has been well chosen - it means, and is indeed "a beautiful refuge".

If you are looking for somewhere that gives customer service that is personalised and offers a memorable experience you won't get at your usual 5 star resort then this is the place for you. Leo is an amazing host, fantastic chef and really knows how to look after his guests from the minute you arrive. There's no menu at this resort because Leo customises his offerings to your taste. Looking for a seafood selection, steak, chicken, duck or maybe something vegetarian, he will prepare exactly what you like, whatever cuisine that might be. Dietary requirements are not a problem. The rooms are large, modern, very clean and well maintained. All rooms have a lovely view. The beds are as you would expect in a luxury resort giving you a cloud nine experience. The rooms have additional items you don't automatically get in most 5 star resorts which was a wow factor for me. Shaving kit and toothbrush, make-up remover are all there ready, just incase you forget. The highlight for me was the 3 course breakfast sat on the deck with the wonderful view. Leo is also a wonderful conversationalist and we enjoyed chatting to him during our stay. With only 4 rooms and adults only this really is the perfect escape to wind down. It's also nice to support a small business. Highly recommended and no surprise Leo receives great reviews.

Great location on the Hastings River. Lovey room with river views & a most gracious host. Only disappointment was we arrived on a night when the chef was not available to cook. However Leo did produce with some crackers one of the nicest pate's I have eaten. Breakfast was served overlooking the river.

5 star B&B This place is spotlessly clean, in a great location on the water and a short drive to the town centre. Our host Leo was unobtrusive who cooked and served us a delicious breakfast. I can’t think of any ways to improve our stay. This is one of the best b&b’s you’ll ever stay in.

All I was after was a quiet space to relax for the beginning of my 2 week holiday. The home and room were the perfect combination of what I needed. The owner was accommodating and listen to me needs leaving me to a perfect stay in a perfect setting. I highly rate the experience and location for a stay.
