Port Macquarie Motel

I don't like to give a negative review but I've never experienced a situation like this! Booked this hotel in the evening for the next day but by mistake it was afterwards that same evening. Immediately after booking I found out and sent a request via *********** for a change of date. This was rejected and I asked via chat if we could change this to which I received a very short answer with declined! Also called but no answer. Drove by the next day and kindly asked if something could be arranged but her answers were short and rude! There was nothing to arrange and we were not allowed to discuss, they even threatened to call the police and on departure we also got a middle finger from the best lady. Had to pay the full amount while the motel canceled our room later that night. We were told by another motel owner that she also cannot get staff because of her behavior! I would say there are plenty of other motels in this lovely city where the owner is customer friendly!!

For an overnight stop over this motel is clean, warm & comfortable - it is all one level which is good for people with mobility issues - parking for most vehicles is at the door. Rooms near the road are a little noisy. Good for budget motel.
