This home offers an upper floor spacious master suite and a queen bedroom on the main floor. The Heron House - A Home Away from Home
We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Heron House, a truly remarkable property right on the sound. This lovely home exceeded all our expectations with its breathtaking views, fantastic kitchen, and outstanding hosts.
The Heron House offers panoramic views of the sound, providing an ever-changing backdrop of seals playing and eagles hunting for fish. The well-equipped kitchens made cooking a delight, and the open-concept living space allowed us to enjoy the views from every corner of the house.
The mornings brought a magical touch with fog rolling in from the sound, and the changing colors of the trees added to the charm. The hosts were exceptionally warm and helpful with a wonderful guidebook on things to see and places to eat, making us feel right at home.
In summary, the Heron House is a hidden gem for a peaceful retreat with incredible views and modern comforts. We left relaxed and eager to return to this remarkable place as soon as possible.

Lovely waterfront home

A Wonderful Place
My wife and I had a wonderful time at this house. It's in a secluded location on the beach of Port Ludlow. More than anything else, we enjoyed sitting outside, watching the tide come and go, and spotting the occasional cargo ship in the distance.
The house is clean and well-decorated - it felt like a home away from home. There is a view of the water from every room! We would love to stay there again.

Beautiful home
We have rented this home twice.
We have enjoyed the peaceful setting and amazing water views and water fowl viewing.

Another wonderful stay at this wonderful home!
This was our third time in one year staying at this property. It's is such a lovely home, so comfortable and meticulously maintained. We had lovely weather the week of 9/27/22, and were able to take the kayak's out for a spin. Dick is a great host and we have enjoyed his home and hospitality very much! Will be back soon!
