I stayed at Dempseys for the month of November as a long-term guest. I stayed in room 5. It was nothing but a pleasure. Cleanliness was top class. My host Kath gracious, kind and helpful. There is an info pack in each room with lots of useful information for tourists. I was made to feel totally at home and did not want for anything during my stay. My bed was very comfortable, my room was serviced up to three times a week depending on my needs. Fresh towels as required. My kitchenette fully equipped with all the essentials and more, bar fridge, toaster oven, microwave, toaster and kettle. The room had a TV, Fans, emergency lamp and Free WIFI. The premises is a tranquil garden with lots of bird life, perfect to unwind and relax. Eco aware, I love the focus on water conservation and recycling. Whether you are only in town for a few nights or need longer term accommodation, I would highly recommend this guest house. Top class service from the lovely Kath!

A very warm welcome and the room was clean, neat and the kitchen lacked for nothing. I had a fantastic sleep! There is safe parking on the property. The external area is a delight with seating areas available to enjoy the incredible garden. So many different birds were spotted, I even had the fortunate experience of seeing an owl. Highly recommend Dempseys, not only for the amenities, but also for the warmth of the host Kathy who went above and beyond. I will definitely stay here again.

No Tips everything is just perfect. Lovely guesthouse and Cathy is a super person to deal with! It is a quiet place, very peacefull and near our destination where we must have been! We had to be at the St Georges Hospital which is only 7 minutes away from the guest house, which suits us very well. Thankyou!!
