We had a lovely last-minute stay at Umtamvuna Cabanas. Arriving at night we did not appreciate the entire property until the next morning and spent an additional hour exploring the wonderful poolside cabanas, garden and view, as well as chatting with the amazing host. Definitely an option for young and old, groups and single travelers. We will be booking this spot as a group to use as a base to explore the South Coast further.

Stunning views from the outdoor area and a comfy bed but, I booked in a hurry when our plans changed, without lots of research so this really is on me. I didn't like the drive in, potholed road and then dirt track for a few hundred meters. A long list of rules for the 'self catering apartment', include fines for leaving dirty dishes and missing plugs... And the musty smell stayed with me for some time.

The place is top class and safe to stay I would even go and stay with the family on holiday. this is a to stay place. Viewing of nature and quietness is one of the best thing. Also the owner has humanity very welcoming.

My family and I had a great stay. The place was clean, neat and tidy. Everything we needed was there. We enjoyed the most beautiful view. The kids loved the pool. The host Louis was amazing. We loved our stay and will return if we in that area again.

Fabulous stay at this accommodation. Hosts went out of their way to accommodate us. I have a sports car and the roads weren't conducive to this. The hosts were kind enough to drop us off and pick us up if we wanted /needed to go anywhere, free of charge. Very kind and hospitable people. Lovely view and our room opened up into the pool area.

We had a lovely stay at Umtamvuna View Cabanas. The unit was stunning, the view was beautiful and the hosts were very friendly and accommodating on our very short notice booking. We even received Christmas gifts.

If you're looking to get away form all the noise in the busy city and just wake up to birds chirping, this is the place to visit, a lover of nature would be in heaven here. Louis is such a great host with such patience in terms of directions when you're lost.

Absolutely lovely views and very quiet. Everything is supplied just go with your cloths and food. Loved every minute. Just need a bigger sign at the turn off as we missed the turning otherwise it was wonderful

The landlord was exceptionally helpful; views are great, all the way to the ocean and to the bridge leading to the Eastern Cape. Good birding. Awesome swimming pool too. Great place to spend a long weekend!
