Anita Apartments

we stayed in the first floor apartment in the Anita complex. The apartment was spacious, three bedrooms, two very well appointed bathrooms. Air conditioning in each room, great kitchen and utilities, dishwasher, washing machine etc. A wonderful view from a very spacious terrace directly overlooking the beach. A very diligent cleaner who did a great job changing linen, mopping and cleaning and getting it all ship shape again. A few problems though. There are a few ‘floating shelves’, barley hanging on the walls at toddler height and knee height. But letting down everything is the incessant noise coming from the Brisas restaurant below and to one side of our apartment. This restaurant turns on a sound system as soon as they begin work and it goes on until closing time. Its a loop of soul destroying ‘beats’ that throbs, buzzes, pounds all day long coming through into the first floor apartment. It is especially noticeable in the bedrooms and bathrooms and very noticeable coming through the extraction ducting. The noise is not so intrusive in the restaurant but does become horrible as it travels through the celing and the adjacent cavity walls. After a few days it became very oppressive. Although we holidayed there to enjoy the island and Porte Pollenca there are of course times when you need to actually use the apartment, for eating, socialising, nursing tired toddlers etc and I dreaded having to go back to it after getting away from this noise. All in all a very good apartment ruined by this purposeless constant noise.

Stayed here for 2 weeks in apartment 2 on the 2nd floor. Six adults. En-suite bedroom was fine and modern Twin bedroom was roomy with wardrobes and bedside shelves 3rd Bedroom was not suitable for 3 adults - L shaped room with a bed at each end and very little storage or shelving and no mirror or bedside tables Great space in living room that could have additional storage added Kitchen has everything you need but does need updating. The Balcony is the best! It was good size with tremendous view over Pine walk. Perfect location. Perfect for a cold drink while watching the world go by The local school children have swimming and sailing lessons on the beach each day which we enjoyed watching We had a great stay and Would stay again if only 4 adults or with 2 children. It could be such a fabulous apartment with a bit of TLC
