Anchors Port Campbell

If I could, I would give 10 points. What a great stay. Very nice contact with the owner. She called on the day of arrival and discussed everything with us. We had Villa 1 with a beautiful view over the valley. The villa was really fantastic. Fully equipped, very modern and super clean. Very good bed. There are so many little details, thats so charming. You feel the love of Tania. On the last day we met Tania, the owner. Super nice woman and she gave us lots of great tips. If we return to Australia again and are in the area, we would book Anchors again and again

What an amazing place - the location is superb, just a couple of minutes outside Port Campbell and the property itself is both beautiful and immaculately kept. There were fantastic views everywhere - we were treated to a sublime sunset - and Tanya (our host) could not have been more helpful, including by agreeing to change the date of our arrival when I got that confused. Each room has all the facilities you could possibly need and, as we had ordered a hamper, had more than we could want for a lovely evening snack/treat and a great breakfast. Can’t wait to return and can say without hesitation that this makes a fantastic base on this part of the Great Ocean Road - we would certainly have stayed a day or two longer if we could have.

For a few days exploring the Great Ocean Road we based ourselves at Anchors Villas, Port Campbell. Booking was easy via their website and contact with the host excellent in all regards. On arrival, we were greeted by Terry who showed us to our villa, explained the facilities, and was a wealth of knowledge on the local area and provided great advice. Villa 1 was ours and definitely recommended as it is the further most on the property, however all have fantastic views. We’d highly recommend the breakfast hamper which provided great local produce and more than enough for the hungriest breakfast eaters. Fully self contained, you can cook for yourselves or take a few minutes drive and avail yourselves of the cafes, hotel and restaurants in Port Campbell. Most highly recommended!

I loved this place and Tanya White, owner/manager, so much, I wish we had stayed more than two nights. The property consists of three stand-alone villas, each with a spectacular view and comfortable furnishings/kitchen, that will make you want to just sit on the patio with a bottle of wine and enjoy the views! Tanya stocks each villa with coffee/tea/milk, granola, chocolate, and a bottle of wonderful Australian wine and is available with helpful hints/suggestions to make your stay a perfect one.

Anchors is an outstanding place to stay. It consists of 3 villas. We stayed in no 1 which was spotless, beautifully appointed and spacious. The bed was comfortable, plenty of towels, well-outfitted kitchen with milk, coffee, tea etc.. The villa had a sleeping area, living room with couch and dining table, and a spacious galley kitchen. And for you coffee lovers, there was a good manual expresso machine that steamed milk for cappuccino. Tanya was a lovely host and gave us good tips about how to avoid the crowds at the numerous local Great Ocean Road sites to see. The views are beautiful (although, full disclosure, there is no water nearby to drop an anchor). We were so comfortable that we dined in both nights we were there. We couldn't recommend this place more highly. If there was a "6" rating available, this would be our first.

This immaculate villa was lovely to stay in. We were in the one at the end and the extensive use of glass gave us a beautiful view over the surrounding hills. The place has everything you need and is spotlessly clean (yay!). The bed was so comfortable - I even made a note of the brand of the pillows, they were so good. The property has some cute animals that gave us a laugh. Location is excellent - visit Timboon Ice creamery for some licorice icecream :) Though it's a bit on the expensive side, it is worth every cent.
