Blu Hotel

our first aim of the trip was exploring Naples, but we also wanted some days with possibilities for a bath on the beach, so we thought this place would be excellent. We sendt an email some days in advance, to inform a late arrival. 2 days later we got an reply (in italian) that this would be no problem (we don't speak italian, but as they were advertising they speak english, we didn't believe it would be a problem). Arriving at the train-station at Pontecagninio, we couldn't find any information about buses or taxis! This was an unmanned station - there were absolutely no-one ask! As we arrived at the airport in Naples, a taxi-strike was going on, so we assumed this was also the case in Pontecagnanio. So we spent 2 hours walking to the hotel..... with suitcases..... throught desolated streets without light. When we finally arrived at the hotel, we were not offered any food or drink (only italian-speaking personnell at the reception) - we managed to communicate we needed some food, We got a plate with some bread-cubes and thin slices of honey-melon - no drink were offered. The room itself was ok - big with balcony and well-functioning aircondition. The bathroom were outdated, with mould. The shower head and mixer tap were green of corrosion. The shower cubicle was very small with no shelfs. The break-fast: A tragedy! They said it was typical italian breakfast - so I feel very sorry for the italians. 2 slices with dry bread, and marmemellade. They had also 2 sorts of youghurt for those who fancy that. To drink there was water and we-take-what-we-have-juices.... if they remembered to put it out on the desk. For lunch and dinner we had to find other places - which was not easy as many hotels and restaurants obviously didn't survive the covid lock-down. Only 1 man at the hotel understood english, and he helped us when we needed a ride to/from the train-station (there are no taxis in Pontecagniano - why didn't the hotel offer to pick us up upon arrival the first day?????) Regarding the beach: as a hotel guest, we were NOT ALLOWED to use the sun-beds closest to the sea! There were not many guests at the hotell, but we were told to move further up on the beach! Where there were no breeze and more meters on the too hot sand to get to the water

Hotel pessimo, lo sconsiglio a tutti , sporco, senza cura nel dettaglio , e la cameriera Andrea molto sgarbata , non sorride mai e sopratutto risponde male , sembra infastidita dalla presenza del cliente, cibo pessimo, esperienza del tutto negativa, Se dovete andare a salerno non prenotate questo hotel.

Location perfetta per qualsiasi evento...personale disponibile cordiale e molto professionale...lo consiglio molto,posto molto tranquillo, ottimo cibo. Piscina molto comoda per i piu piccoli e un ambio spazio per rilassarsi e stare tranquilli

Ottimo ristorante e ottimo lido tranquillo. Passato una bella domenica al mare con un ottimo pranzo. Mare pulito. Penso che una volta finiti i lavori nella edificio principale sarà una delle mie mete preferite. Personale gentilissimo e giovane

Non si può avere una perla tra le mani e non saper dare il giusto valore... Attratti dalla loro unica qualità (piscina bellissima a 10 gradini dalla spiaggia) senza nulla.da dire alle camere nuove e pulite mi associo alla.strqgrande maggioranza dei commenti negativi per quanto riguarda la colazione: Dire povera è un'eufemismo! Scadente é il giusto termine Per non parlare della sporcizia di bicchieri, tovagliato , stoviglie, mancanza di tutto e di più. Ma come fate con certi prezzi e nonostante i vari commenti negativi a non inserire qualcosa in più? Lo chiamerei non rispetto per la clientela. Inoltre non ci sono camere con letti singoli oltre la matrimoniale, solo letti a castello. Anche questa cosa non va bene per chi non ama la quadrupla così composta. Se non fosse per questa informazione fasulla presente su booking non avremmo prenotato. Da non ritornarci..mai

Abbiamo soggiornato per due notti in questo hotel scelto per la vicinanza al lido di una convention di lavoro, e siamo rimasti soddisfatti per il rapporto qualità prezzo rispetto ai servizi offerti. Ovvero incluso nel prezzo a notte (75€ per una matrimoniale lato monte), c'era la colazione, l'accesso in piscina ed al lido privato (2 lettini e 1 ombrellone). Ci siamo fermati al ristorante per un primo a pranzo, davvero ottima qualità, materie prime fresche, prezzi onestissimi. Consigliato
