순례길 걷는 도중 조금 쉬고싶기도 하고 처리해야 할 업무도 있어서 더블침대 있는 룸을 하나 예약했어요 3시 체크인인데 제가 조금 바빠 보였는지 빈 방이 있었는지 9시 조금 넘은 시각에 추가금 없이 체크인 양해 해주셨어요 (메리어트 티어 없음) 방에 올라가보니 테라스 딸린 주니어 스위트로 업그레이드 해주셨길래 더 좋았어요. 집중해서 업무 마무리하고 잘 쉬다 왔습니다 리뷰가 별로 없었고 한국인 리뷰는 찾아보기 어려워서 망설였는데 예약하길 잘 한 것 같아요! 조식은 14.3유로였는데 그정도 가성비인진 잘 모르겠으나 편하게 해결할 수 있다는 점에선 만족. 잘 쉬다 갑니다!

We were hiking the Camino de Santiago and wanted somewhere nice to stay in Ponferrada for 1 night so we opted for the AC Hotel. The staff at the hotel were very good and in fact they upgraded us on arrival (thank you!). The hotel itself is quite dated but it was comfortable and clean and the breakfast was good. My only gripe with Marriott hotels is that communicating with them is a nightmare, as the individual hotel websites never show the hotel's contact details - they usually only have a USA call centre number - and the last time I called a USA telephone number from the UK, it cost nearly £10 for a 2 minute call.

The staff was very nice and attentive. The rooms were clean and beds comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfast and had lunch at a bar nearby that was recommended by the staff. The rest of the time we spent touring the area. The hotel has two parking spaces to drop off luggage. It's not in front, it's the first 2 spaces on the side of the street right after the hotel entrance. The parking is a bit uncomfortable because it's across the street. Once you drop off your luggage, you have to drive down the street and make a u-turn. The space is a bit tight and it fills up quickly. The only other option is to park on the street, which is very difficult because it's always full. Besides the parking, everything was great, so we will definitely return.

The hotel overall is okay. The front desk is excellent. The front desk helped us with our bikes to lock them up in storage and found an extension cord for me. On the bad side, the air conditioner is not cold enough, the WiFi is poor and the TV is Spanish only. Connecting my computer to my phone gives better internet access.

We did a one night stopover for 7000 points - a great value. We stayed in an attractive suite just on the outskirts of town - maybe 10 minutes to Old Town. Comfortable and modern, it works well for Camino hikers. Breakfast was above average, parking across the street was $13 - really good option in Ponferrada.

Very inexpensive, bedroom is not huge but staff very welcoming. Paid hotel car park is across the street. Breakfast just adequate. About 10 mins (flat) walk into town. Modern hotel and great value, even for Camino pilgrims.

We’ve been staying here every 5 years or so for over 25-30 years to visit family of my wife and it’s as if time has stood still. There do now have WiFi which is good enough, but apart from that, the A/C is still substandard and as the hotel is an AC it’s quite funny. Then there is only one plug on one side of a double bed. No USB plugs and no real place to open an oyster type suitcase. It’s amazing that a Marriott group hotel can be so lost in the past. The personnel are all very friendly.

Stayed one night whilst walking the Camino. Check in felt a little slow after 10 hours walking in the heat, although staff were friendly. Room was a good size with a shower over bath, air conditioning didn’t seem to change no matter what I did with the thermostat. It was only a few minutes walk to the old town, but far enough away so we didn’t hear all the Saturday night celebrations. Breakfast was nice, the coffee in particular was good.

Stayed one night on our bike trip of the Picos. Garage to park with is nice and secure which is also good. Staff were very helpful. Room was very nice and an excellent shower . Five minute walk from castle and local park highly recommend.when visiting Ponferrada. Castle worth a visit

El personal de recepcion FANTASTICO. En especial el chico que nos atendió a nuestra llegada que no recordamos el nombre y susana, que nos atendio via chat el dia anterior a la llegada. Todos encantadores. Las habitaciones muy limpias y cómodas. El desayuno muy rico y completo a muy buen precio.

Hotel bien situado, bien equipado, habitación amplia. Armario amplio y con suficientes colgadores. Baño bien equipado, con todo tipo de accesorios de higiene. Muy limpio y silencioso. Desayuno buffet completo, variado y de calidad. Personal recepción muy atento. En general muy buen hotel.

Nuestra estancia en este hotel ha sido maravillosa . El personal muy amable , la habitación espaciosa y agradable . Hemos estado alojados 7 días y nos hemos sentido muy a gusto . Muy bien ubicado en una zona en la que fácilmente se puede aparcar el coche a 15 minutos del centro andando en un agradable paseo. Muy limpio y con un buffet de desayuno muy completo . Sin duda si volvemos a Ponferrada aportaremos por este hotel.
