SpringHill Suites Sandpoint

I am so happy that we now have a Springhill Suites Marriott in Sandpoint, Idaho. The consistency and professionalism of Marriott property is the best. That's shy I always try and stay at Marriott property's. This particular property is very new and located close to the ski hill and good restaurants. Excellent parking and the lobby bar is top notch. Staff is super friendly and this is a very safe place to stay. Five stars all the way around. If visiting in Sandpoint, Idaho and you need a great place. You can't go wrong. Pool and hot tub too. Great outside porch with views. Can't say enough about this property and the rates are great!

Rooms are very comfy, staff very courteous, hotel very nice and clean. Breakfast good, with lots of variety to choose from. Will definitely recommend to my friends. Beds are very comfy and bathrooms clean. The hotel has nice gym, laundry facilities, lobby and bar, outside patios.

This hotel just opened six or seven months ago so everything was new, which is alway great. I could not find one thing to complain about EXCEPT for the fact that I was charged $10 for parking per day!?! At this location (wide open area) charging for parking is a ripoff! I would not have stayed here had I known as just down the street parking is free. First time I was charged for parking at a Marriott branded hotel that was not in a resort or located downtown in a major city. I will not be staying here ever again and have learned to check for parking charges more carefully. I hate hidden or small print charges!!!

Everything about our stay at this hotel was wonderful. The room was immaculate, spacious, and comfortable. The bathroom had excellent lighting at the mirror (most hotel bathrooms have horrible lighting). The bed was very comfortable. There was a spacious desk for work, a sofa with trundle bed, refrigerator, walk-in closet, iron, hair dryer, stemless wine glasses. The TV was super easy to login to our own accounts for streaming. The lobby is gorgeous and ski/bike lockers are available. The bar is beautiful and has a patio with gas fireplaces, mountain views, and views of the wild Sand Creek area below. The hotel was busy the weekend we were there (Labor Day) but the breakfast buffet was rapidly replenished right up until the last minute. Trays are provided in your room if you'd like to bring your breakfast back up to your room. This hotel is a short drive to the lake, many hiking trails (check All Trails), and Schweitzer Mountain Resort. Parking is $10/night.

Beautiful property, Great service, excellent amenities (GYM, lobby). The hotel is well designed and new. Check in was efficient. Beds, linen, pillows all excellent. Gorgeous bathroom and shower. Excellent TV with streaming service capabilities. I look forward to coming back in the Winter and skiing here.

The hotel is new and the decor is very inviting and tastefully done. The breakfast had more than enough to make anyone happy, healthy choices as well if you can't find something to eat it's on you. The outside fire pit was nice to grab a cocktail and sit and have adult conversation plus the indoor common area was nice and an indoor pool for the kids. Nice crispy sheets the hotel is new and the rooms were plenty big with a walk in closet. We travel a lot and I was so surprised this property had a ton to offer . One morning we grabbed a cup of coffee and muffin drove to the waterfront to have breakfast there. The staff was super friendly, happy to help with anything the only down fall was they have a big parking lot and charge you $10.00 a night not sure why it really made the property look like they are nickel and dimming you. If you're ever in the area it's a perfect location for even a week stay.
