I believed the reviews and well angled photos and was seduced by a good deal. What the pictures don't show is the front approach to the hotel and run down look of this building. Once inside Claudia was wonderfully friendly and helpful but this doesn't detract from the sparce and cheap feel of the place. The stated opening times of their reception are quite simply incorrect and I was required to give a fairly precise arrival time. My room had a balcony, the door to which had obviously been pried open at some stage and therefore didn't lock properly. Beds are very firm and have plastic backed sheets, pillows are incredibly lumpy and uncomfortable. The shower is very slow to warm up and then merely trickles water at you. There was no extractor in the bathroom making it a smelly room and a slippy room after a shower. Security is very dubious with the rear door left open all night in an unmanned hotel. The only selling point for this place is its proximity to the local tourist attractions. I certainly wouldn't recommend this place and will not visit again.

The breakfast is surprisingly okay. Security is very dubious with the rear door left open all night in an unmanned building. One final note is that the chap attending to breakfast on the second night was far more interested in his mobile phone than his customers. I certainly wouldn't recommend this place to you and will not visit again.

This property is family run & owned. Roberto is extremely kind and helpful. He was absolutely fantastic. Nothing was a problem. The rooms are basic yet very clean. The beds are firm yet comfortable. If you need more blankets or pillows you only have to ask. There is a small shared fridge in the lobby area with free water. The beers and wine are reasonably priced. The continental breakfast is delicious and coffee is prepared at your request. The rooms are all at the rear, overlooking a garden courtyard where there is a large covered table & chairs providing shelter from the sun. The Guest House is within walking distance of Pompei ruins and restaurants. If you are hiring a boat it is also only 10 mins to Marina Di Stabia.

The guest house doesn't look much from the outside, but never judge a book by its cover. The manager is fantastic, is warm and considerate, and dealt with gluten free easily. The rooms are clean and safe, and there is a lovely courtyard garden and secure parking. The guest house isn't in the prettiest of locations, but once inside that doesn't matter, as it more than makes up. It also benefits from being a 10 min walk from the entrance to the ruins.

Atmosphere: 4/5 Cute decor and eating area in the morning. Host: 5/5 Host provided us with a map and instructions on how to get to where we were going. She also gave us food recommendations. Very sweet! The breakfast in the morning was nice, as well as her willingness to store our luggage before check in. If you are checking out early in the morning, best to let the host know beforehand. Comfortability: 2/5 The mattress felt like cardboard (and I am not a picky sleeper). The towels and sheets were not the best quality material. The shower was bigger than most of the other European showers we have been in, so that was really nice! Also the AC was so appreciated after being out all day! Cleanliness: 3/5 The tiles in the shower looked like they could use a good scrub (there were some moldy spots in the grout). And the floors were okay, not the best and not the worst. Everything else felt freshly cleaned! It is a 30 min walk to the central train station, but a 6 min taxi ride. Ask how much it will be to get to the hotel before leaving w a driver to or from the station, as a few tried to charge us $30 for a 6 min drive!! It’s best to ask the host for the number of a reputable taxi company.

Lovely B&B at the quiet end of Pompeii. Very quiet, individual rooms/ bathrooms overlooking quiet courtyard. Run by the wonderful Claudia who couldn’t be more helpful. About 10 mins walk to archaeological park entrance and further 10 into modern Pompeii.

The owner , who is willingly on booking. com, complained about me canceling our stay at their b&b, due to a guest's sudden health issue. Apparently, the owner forgets that she agreed to be a part of booking com, allowing guests to cancel their reservation. I do not recommend this facility due to the unprofessional and rude behavior shown by the owner. When in Pompei I'll take my business elsewhere.

If you are visiting Pompei then this is the place to stay. About 10 - 15 minute walk from Pompeii (Villa de Mistry) Train station, it is perfectly placed to visit all the must see sights. Clean and friendly, with a smashing selection for breakfast.

Abbiamo soggiornato qualche giorno a Villa aro la, mi sento di consigliarla fortemente, si trova in punto strategico per gli scavi di Pompei, la stanza è all’altezza delle aspettative e, soprattutto, i proprietari sono persone attenti al cliente. Struttura di alto livello.

Luogo perfetto per stare a Pompei e per visitare napoli e Vesuvio con mezzi pubblici, grazie alla stazione circumvesuviana con cui si può andare davvero dappertutto. Complimenti ai gestori per la gentilezza, la pulizia e le informazioni sempre utili. Ricca colazione ben servita in un ambiente comodo e familiare. Grazie della bella esperienza!

Camera confortevole e molto pulita a pochi minuti da tutto ciò che è indispensabile per trascorrere una vacanza in totale relax. I proprietari, con la loro gentilezza, ti assistono da prima del tuo arrivo fino alla partenza con preziosi consigli. Di norma, a questo punto della recensione, si tende a dar qualche consiglio, ma in tutta sincerità non ho nulla da poter consigliare in quanto era tutto perfetto :) Sergio.

Anfitrión estupendo, se preocupó por nosotros en todo momento.Desayuno excelente, muy recomendable.Habitaciones bonitas y limpias, aire acondicionado. Muy bien ubicado para visitar las ruinas de Pompeya a pie. Después del Check out nos permitió dejar el coche en el parking cerrado del hotel mientras visitábamos las ruinas.

siamo stati ospiti due giorni nel B&B di Roberto per una visita agli scavi di Pompei. Roberto è stato gentilissimo e non ci ha fatto mancare nulla. il B&B si trova appena fuori dal centro, ma ci si arriva in 5/10 minuti a piedi quindi molto comodo anche per gli scavi. La camera era in ordine e pulita, con tutto funzionante. Anche il giardino merita , molto curato e piacevole passare del tempo sulle panche sotto il gazebo. Purtroppo nel giorno che siamo stati li mancava l'acqua in tutta Pompei, ma devo dire che Roberto si è prodigato con secchi ed acqua in bottiglia per non farci mancare nulla, nonostante il problema non dipendesse da lui. Per scusarci del disagio ci ha anche offerto la colazione nei due giorni trascorsi li.

Si vous chercher un endroit pour dormir à Pompéi, la Villa Rocla est une excellente adresse. Tout y fait pour que l’on se sente bien. Le personnel est aux petits soins. Le petit déjeuner est vraiment très bien. Le parking très appréciable vu la difficulté de stationner à Pompéi. Située à 700m du site et à 2 kms de restaurants excellents.
