Wave Resort - Ultra All Inclusive

Thank you Wave resort Pomirie for a wonderful holiday, the food was excellent, the entertainment was great, the staff at the wave were are exceptional,but i must give a special mention to MIRA Jet2 Rep so helpfull and the ultimate professional, and a charming manor, I will certainly come again, in fact I have already booked for next year ! One of the best all inclusive hotel resort I've visited. The spa facilities are excellent. The best I’ve ever tried. I would recommend the wave massage,salt room, and the salt Hydro pool. I will definitely be trying the rest when I go back. The staff are very helpful and always greet you with a smile. Plus, I was able to drive my scooter straight into the spa area, which was a bonus. Which I managed to hire out there. You won’t be disappointed, something for everyone. See you soon ️

Most amazing week in this beautiful hotel. Although the hotel is in the middle of nowhere there is a beach just right outdide was a lovely walk each day and the sea was quite warm. The hotel is spotless and very well maintained. The staff are really nice and helpful,and work 24/7. The rooms are brilliant and very spacious with lovely views, the rooms are kept spotless with clean towels every day, the fridge is replenished every day with water, beer,coke and a kit kat (all inc) such a lovely gesture. There are slippers and a robe too if needed. The food is amazing (no one will go hungry) there Is so much choice, the restaurant is huge and plenty of tables this is also kept spotless and staff are on hand if anything is spilt or dropped! The drink selection in the restaurant is good and like how you can help yourself! The food huts round the pools are brilliant too and such a good selection (just too many wasps). Didnt get a chance to use any of the other restaurants as they were fully booked, which was a shame as they looked lovely too. The pool areas are stunning and love the adults only section, was so peaceful we couldn't hear the noise from the children's area. Plenty of sunbeds and canopies. Only down side water in the pools were very cold! Tried the indoor pool on one of the days when the weather wasn't too good it was nice too. Entertainment wasn't that good at night although everyone's got different taste! Only 1 thing at night when adults were trying to have a peaceful drink and natter, there were quite a few kids running around, 1 was even on a scooter racing round nearly knocked into a waiter with a tray full of drinks! ( this being the end of September when kids should of been back to school) so maybe a quieter area for adults only would be nice! Another lovely gesture whilst we were there 1 of our party celebrated her bday, she returned to her room to find a card and bottle! The free shuttle bus was nice too although as it was end of season once we got to pomorie everything was closed. All in all a brilliant relaxed holiday and would definitely recommend this hotel especially if anyone is travelling with children the water themed park looked fabulous.

Weeks stay, 14yr old son in tow. First trip to Bulgaria. We’ll be back. Massive complex literally on the beach. Several pools including a few waterslides and a splash area that sadly I was too old for but looked like a lot of fun. There were plenty of beds even able to get a day bed in the adults only section at around 09:30. One pool was essentially empty most of last week with full Sun and empty loungers. Only a struggle if you have to be next to the water or in ‘your’ spot *sigh*. The beach is NOT owned by the hotel (as the sign clearly states) so yes it’s open access. The hotel puts out plenty of loungers and parasols and a somewhat inattentive series of lifeguards. The beach is small and slightly rough. There’s little tide to speak of and is shallow up to 40m out. Oh and the sea is luke warm, perfect really. We got a swim up room, note of caution it’s not really swim up it does NOT connect to the main pools. Rather it’s a long thin pool joining about 15 rooms. It was plenty warm we used it daily and had no issues ( must have the right constitution I guess). Our room was large, bright, well air conditioned and certainly as clean as our home (sadly there’s a little dust under our beds and we should probably scrub the bathroom daily rather than weekly). The gym was modern and reasonable for a hotel. It’s not Golds and wouldn’t satisfy some of the trentastic physiques on display but ok. Didn’t use the spa, the indoor pool was closed (because it’s summer and 30deg and there’s loads OUTSIDE). On site doctor, didn’t use but was staffed and with a consulting room. Shop was well stocked and thanks to the exchange rate reasonably priced.you can use the currency exchange there too. Food and drink. Self service, Costa coffee machines, soft drinks and beer on tap, wine and ouzo at meals. Actual size glasses! A first in many all ins I’ve been to. Fresh meat,fish,pizza,pasta yes you might wait a little bit. It’s being cooked in front of you. Salads, a range of stuff, admittedly slanted a little Germanic but never a bother to eat. Loads of cakes and an icecream Machine for dessert. Between meals the out door snack bar or indoor sandwich bar were available to prevent you wasting away. The animation team were visible but not pushy, no idea if the entertainment at night was any good but the outdoor amphitheater looked impressive. Was there anything bad? Reception staff were a little frosty. The dinning hall was chaotic, busy, loud. It was full of feral children and people with no manners or idea how to behave in a public space. The water and mess on some tables should have led to some kind of ban and I feel deeply sorry for the staff left cleaning up after some groups. Was it enough to spoil the trip no. Just ground my gears. Oh they need way more serving implements. Some people will ALWAYS moan. Ignore them this place is pretty good for a relaxing warm weather break. I’d go again

Wave Resort is the place that won my heart. Great hotel! Service, rooms, food, animations for children and adults and swimming pools - everything at the highest level. The food is brilliant and the service impeccable. Cleanliness and comfort are a priority. Animators are masters! I was delighted with the smiling and cheerful animators who tried to communicate in every language. The animators at Wave Resort are not only professional, but also full of passion and smiles. Their goal is to make each guest feel special. From morning aqua aerobics to evening performances - every moment spent with them is unforgettable. Various activities take place every day at the hotel. Guests can participate in sports tournaments, competitions, evening shows and many other attractions. Animators make sure that everyone finds something for themselves... Children love animations at Wave Resort! The mini club offers creative games and many other attractions. Parents can rest easy knowing that their children are in good hands. In short, Wave Resort is a fairy-tale place that meets the expectations of even the most demanding guests.

I stayed at the wave resort with my daughter and another family of 4. It was my first holiday abroad in over 12 years and my daughters first holiday abroad….I wasn’t disappointed ☺️ The hotel is clean, most staff lovely & the food was lovely, amazing choice at each meal times. Also a snack bar available, which is great for the kids. The hotel is quite remote with nothing really within walking distance, but taxis are available for the short drive to sunny beach & Nessebar. We visited at the beginning of May when all the amenities weren’t open but that wasn’t an issue. It was nice as the hotel wasn’t too busy. Massive shout out to Kiko from the entertainment team. He’s absolutely fantastic with the kids (and adults ) so much fun, makes everyone feel welcome with the numerous languages he speaks & 100% made our holiday more enjoyable, great guy! I would definitely stay again.

Checked out 3rd June, Overall good but a couple of things let it down hence why not 5 stars. Good points, Facilities are very good Cleanliness is excellent Staff very attentive Everything is there when you need it. Not so good points, Evening entertainment is very repetitive -Same thing every night. We had Dance acts every night, there is no variety! Restaurant food isn't warm enough, it's cold by the time you've got back to your table to eat! You don't also have a chance to finish your meal before plates are taken from you. The outdoor pools are freezing cold. Overall it was a good holiday, would highly recommend a visit to Nessebar, Pomorie is Ok, but there isn't an awful lot to do /see there, plus you get dropped off in the middle of town without any guidance or help as to where things can be found! If you are going with Jet2, I would recommend the South tour as an excursion- lasts all day and is full of facts and info about Bulgaria, you get a good river boat ride and lunch as well. We will return in the future, but we wouldn't stay for any more than seven nights.
