Royal Hotel and Suites

Great hotel, the staff & family atmosphere make it ! The food can be a little predictable but I think there is definitely always something for everybody. The cooking station ( usually manned by Mohammed ) is exceptional. The food is always hot ,& different every night . The hotel is so clean , always a team of cleaners around . Also last but not least Aris , the bar man , was attentive, funny but takes no prisoners !!!

A wonderful stay from start to finish. The rooms were cleaned daily, and the AC worked perfectly. Pool area had enough space for everyone and never felt crowded. Staff were always smiling and helpful. Great service and relaxing vibes throughout the hotel.

Visited as part of a jet 2 holiday at the end of April and had a lovely stay. We booked on of the private pool rooms and the room itself was amazing! Rooms cleaned daily, lovely decor and had all the amenities we needed. They provided a good clean travel cot (some hotels they can look questionable but this one was perfect) with child's bedding. Robes, slippers and pool towels were also provided in these rooms. We did find the private pool was cold but you can pay €100 per day to heat this (something I do think jet 2 needs to advertise better) which if you're heating for a while would be costly. We paid for 2 days and this allowed us to use it for around 3-4 days as the rest of the time we were out. We used the car hire locally and this was all arranged via the reception who were always on hand. The hotel has a car park available so we had no stress finding somewhere to park the car. The car hire company also provided a baby seat. Staff at the hotel were wonderful, all friendly, polite and made a fuss of our daughter. For children there is an outdoor area containing a slide, sea saw, 3 different swings, outdoor chess and crazy golf. There are also swings, sofas and loungers for other guests. There was no entertainment during our stay, I don't know if this is just not provided at this hotel or perhaps only provided during peak season, however this wasn't a concern for us. Food and drink was as expected for an all inclusive but there was plenty of variety and service to re-fill items and clear plates was always on form. The snack bar serves hot dogs, chips, burgers ect and the only thing I would honestly change about the hotel is that they should serve Gyros at the snack bar instead. One of my favourite things in greece is too eat gyros however there are none at this hotel. We found plenty when out and about exploring though. The beach is just a few minute walk down the road where you will also pass the supermarket for any supplies you may need. There is a lovely beach bar at the end of the road also. The beach bar connected to this hotel was not yet open for the season when we visited but I saw signs that the hotel provide a shuttle to this when it is open. If I was to visit this area of Greece again I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Reckon it’s a 3-star hotel with one bar wifi connection Actually totally agree with the previous reviewer and a very fair summary re disappointing food/drinks (3-star review/3-star hotel) I just dropped a star on their rating for the poor wifi. In 2025 it's fair to expect a 4-star hotel to offer a reasonable wifi service, plus it was an unsecured network (which isn't the best situation) During my stay, without any warning they changed from an open log in to a code per device, which knocked everyone out until they got a bit of paper with a code. Hopes for any improvement in service were dashed as it was just as poor. My take on this is that it depends on 1) distance from main router (probably in reception, which meant taking device nearer there to re-connect), and 2) its capacity (service slowed further in daytime when more users). Disappointing but see tip below before you travel. (ensure you have a good data roaming GB allowance, the 5G network is fine)

Stayed at Royal Hotel & Suites in one of the family rooms and had an awesome time! The breakfast was great, and the main pool was amazing. My only regret is not booking one of the private pool suites I saw from our balcony, but I’m saving that for next time! Can’t wait to return next year! Thanks to the team for the great service and attention.

Arrived late on 28/9 for a week here - not having appreciated that the resort was winding down and many things closing on the Monday 30th September. Due to late arrival, evening food was a sandwich and a welcome drink at the bar. We had a family room which was very comfortable and well appointed with a good walk in shower, kitchen area, double bedroom with its own courtyard as we were on the ground floor. Breakfast which was had a delightful selection of food was eaten out on the terrace which was lovely and evening meal in the same area. Always plenty of choice, or local and international food, salads, desserts, starters and always a special being cooked up by the chef in the kitchen - some nights fish, others barbecue/mixed grill. Service at the bar - usually had wine with dinner was always pleasant and wines were a delight. We had a faulty kettle which we only spotted on the first morning and this was swiftly replaced and apology for the inconvenience. The receptionist was very informative about local buses, markets, and places to visit which we did on several days as the choice of restaurants on the local beach reduced each day. The first day we visited the beach we'd assumed the closed shops were due to it being a Sunday. People were dismantling sunshades/sunbeds on the beach they said due to the high winds but some said they said they were packing up for the season hence getting on buses to go further afield. Waiting for buses was a pain - as there was often several hours between buses and some 'resorts' further down the coast had even less open than Polychrono as several buses had been cancelled from the timetable. The beach had sharp grit to travel over to get into the sea so worth packing jelly shoes. There were several in it but the lifeguards also packed up 30/9 and took their equipment so with a real hefty current/heavy waves, didn't look particularly safe on windier days. The hotel's private beach advertised in the brochure was deserted both times we visited. We had to ask reception where it was - right at the end of the resort beach but due to the wind, the foam sun loungers had blown across the beach and the bins were full so it didn't give the good impression we'd seen in website/literature. There were other places to sit on the beach under shade weather still warm enough to while away the hours. The hotel had several families as well as couples despite being term time and we rarely saw anyone in the two swimming pools. There was a private function in the grounds on the Sunday with many families attending. We avoided the bar/pool area due to the amount of people who smoked there. There was a larger garden area beyond our room if people wanted to make use of that and rooms had their balcony/courtyard. There were magazines and books in reception forming a holiday library to read, return or swap - which I used.
