Albergo Dell'Agenzia

While the outside of Hotel Albergo Dell'Agenzia is stunning, the overall experience left much to be desired. After being wowed by the property's beautiful exterior, the rest of our stay was somewhat disappointing, especially considering the hotel's high star rating. The lack of customer service was a major letdown. There was no doorman to assist with our luggage upon arrival, and the young bartender simply watched as I struggled to open the door, rather than offering to help. It was only after I had to explicitly ask him for assistance that he begrudgingly opened one side of the door, still making no effort to help with our bags. The cleanliness of the room was also sub-par. We left our used towels in the bathtub, as the room instructions indicated, but rather than replacing them with fresh towels, the housekeeping staff simply hung the dirty ones back up. This was an appalling oversight. Additionally, the gym and pool area did not have WiFi access, which was an inconvenience when trying to stay connected during our stay. Overall, while the property itself is visually impressive, the lackluster customer service and lack of attention to cleanliness really detracted from our experience at Hotel Albergo Dell'Agenzia. I expected a higher level of quality and care from a hotel of this caliber.

The hotel is located in a beautiful context and looks beautiful from the outside and in common areas. The restaurant is really, really good and recommended. Unfortunately the rooms (at least the room I aas assigned) completely kill the beauty of the experience. Poorly furnished with old and poorly mainted furniture and especially smelling like it was built directly on a sewer. Since I was staying only for one night I did not complain, locked the bathroom door (bad smell was coming from the bathroom) and coped with it. But taking a shower in the morning was a very painful experience.

Since the first moment when we arrived at the hotel we were treated with courtesy. We had an early checked in and we were given a free room upgrade. The room was amazing (nice, comfortable, clean and with great A/C and super bed). The hotel is really nice and the location superb. The pool area is also quite nice and we enjoyed a swim to fight the super hot day. What was missing was a pool bar, which is a pity. Overall it was a great experience, well done to all the staff and we will definitely go back
