We had a big 6 week holiday booked and this accommodation was booked very early prior to arriving in the UK. I received an email from the company I used to book it that they could no longer accommodate me. I was never given an explanation. This left me scrambling and spending an hour or two late at night to try to secure some alternative accommodation. I choose Caprera for their facilities and price. I ended up having to pay a lot more. Since it was holiday season I was quite concerned I’d struggle to find something. I didn’t need this with only a few weeks to go until my huge trip.

Svar fra overnatningssted: Your reservation was only for the one night and having spoken to you and contacted the company 3 months in advance to say we wouldn’t be able to honour your reservation, we felt that was ample enough notice for you to find alternative accomodation. It is beyond our control. We are sorry you felt the need to leave this feedback despite the fact you didn’t actually stay with us. Despite this matter, we hope it didn’t affect your trip.

Stayed here for a couple of days whilst dropping our son, and despite only being a guest house, the manager treated us like royalty! Nothing was too much trouble. The owner was rude in his ignorance and if it wasn’t for the care we received from the worn out lady in charge of the reigns we’d never return. The manager is the asset that every owner can be proud of. She is even made sure to provide gluten free items for my partner even though we were bed only. These small touches stick in your mind and make you want to return happily over again.
