We stayed here this past week with 10 people and had the most amazing time. Pascale and Marti were so amazing and made the stay perfect. Everything we did was great. They went above and beyond to help us enjoy our stay and didn’t disappoint. The rooms and chateau were beautiful and so comfortable. The grounds were like a botanical garden. You could spend days walking all the paths. The private dinners we had there were amazing. Pascale is an amazing cook!

We stayed at the Chateau in March 2023 - we occupied the entire place for a fun girls trip! They helped with so many accommodations, restaurant reservations, places to see and the Avranches market. A fire was ready to enjoy in the cool evenings and we enjoyed beautiful morning walks around the property. It is also located within close proximity to Mont Saint Michel, St. Malo & Normandy Beach. So much more we would love to explore. The rooms are spacious, private & beds are extremely comfy & wonderful breakfasts. We loved our stay here and hope to come back in a few years! We all highly recommend staying at Chateau La Rametiere Bed & Breakfast.

Don't waste your time looking for other chateaus in the Normandy area. Just book La Rametiere in LeParc/Plomb !! We're glad we chose this as our last reservation after a long road trip thru several countries, ending with tours of WWII Normandy, Saint-Malo, and Mont St Michel as the chateau served as our cozy home for 5 nights. Host Pascale will treat you like family and has a great sense of humor besides! The suites are beyond spacious and so beautifully decorated with antiques befitting the chateau's history. The rest of the chateau you will enjoy experiencing yourself -- the entertainment/dining rooms/etc, and just wandering the beautiful grounds and scenery. When we left, we felt like we were leaving family. Just book it !!

I had a lovely stay at the Chateau Rametiere at the end of May, celebrating my 55th birthday! I had a fabulous chef prepared meal the first night on my arrival. The grounds are lovely, the flowers, pond, orchard, and mini forest are very tranquil and relaxing. The room I stayed in was grand and the bed comfortable. Each morning a delicious breakfast was served. All the surrounding towns have unique and quaint attractions! I visited Avranches with several churches, a beautiful garden, lots of history and fun places to drink and shop. I went to a street market one morning in Villadue, and had oysters on the seawall of Concale. Le Mont Saint Michel is a must, but it is a lot of walking and steep stairs so be prepared. The owners suggested I go early first thing before the crowds and I am so thankful. I look forward to returning and discovering more in the area with a day trip to the beaches of Normandy. It was a delightful trip.

Such a quaint and approachable chateau!. Our room was on the third floor with a lovely view of the gardens. I've never seen so many beautiful hydrangeas and in an array of colors! The room was well-appointed and quite large, including a seating area. The bathroom has a jetted tub and separate shower. The new owners are working on some renovations to open spaces to guests that were previously unavailable. I'm looking forward to returning and seeing the improvements!

We stayed at the Chateau this past weekend and received fantastic hospitality from Michael and the owners. Michael went above and beyond imparting us with his local knowledge, sharing helpful tips for our visit to Le Mont-Saint-Michel and booking delicious dinners for us at restaurants both nights. The Chateau is very comfortable and the grounds are delightful for a walk. We stayed in the quad room which was perfect apart from the fact that the pull-out sofa bed was too small for our kids to share. It is our mistake – they are tall so next time we will book two rooms or the gite. Thank you for a lovely stay! P.S. Breakfast is scrumptious with fresh fruit, pastries, yoghurt and all our favourite French delicacies.

Enchanting historical manor with manicured garden. Michael at reception, speaks English and French and was incredibly helpful. Very spacious rooms, fully renovated and squeaky clean. Breakfast for a king & queen with fresh local products.

We had an amazing experience staying at this Chateau. The Chateau is beautiful and while keeping the original decor and charm, we also enjoyed just the right amount of modern amenities to make our stay comfortable. The Chateau host Michael, was as charming as the Chateau itself. He was knowledgeable about the Chateau’s history including the surrounding beautiful and colorful grounds. He’s so friendly and kind that once you meet him you feel like you’ve always known him. He also clued us into some wonderful cafes in the surrounding small towns, as well as other historic places to visit. If you’re looking for a wonderful experience on your trip to France ( or a getaway for those already living there) this is your place!

Beautiful place and lovely garden, clean spacious rooms with renovated bathrooms and comfortable beds .friendly and very helpful staff. This charming chateau gives you an exceptional opportunity to experience French countryside life and travel back in time. This place particularly is recommended for non French speaking guests as it's one of the very few places in France countryside with English speaking host. Michael is very welcoming and helpful. He helped us with all plannings and reservations and he has good knowledge of the place and history. We truly enjoyed our stay and we definitely go back again if we stay in that region
