Hotel Ritual Maspalomas - Adults Only

Ottimo soggiorno, grazie anche al personale attento ai nostri bisogni. Abbiamo avuto un problema con dei cuscini sporchi, ma la signora delle pulizia ha provveduto a sostituirceli. Alcuni mobili sono usurati e si potrebbero migliorare alcuni dettagli, ma nel complesso il rapporto qualità prezzo è molto buono. Torneremo.

First off, we didn't plan to stay at this hotel so I can't give an accurate review of what it would be like to stay for a holiday but we were very happy with what we got. Our flight got cancelled due to a storm in the UK so we managed to get rooms here at midnight for a decent price (€150 for a twin apartment) for a last minute, one-night-only stay. These aren't rooms so much as mini apartments and you get a bedroom (twin beds in our case), a lounge/diner area, balcony, and bathroom. Everywhere was clean and tidy, if a little dated (the wardrobe doors were starting to look tired but there was a lot of space inside). The beds were comfortable and a welcome relief after a stressful day of cancelled travel. This hotel is obviously geared towards those who want to party and/or entertain whoever they meet and it's adults only for that reason. There are leaflets for cabaret nights and boat parties in reception if you want that kind of thing, or maybe one of the advertised massages is more your choice of relaxation? The decor is colourful and the bathroom comes complete with shiny and mirrored walls that cover every angle! The kitchen facilities are basic with a fridge, hot plate, and a couple of utilities but I reckon that most people who stay here aren't going to be cooking grand meals in the apartment. As for the location, it's very convenient to the nightlife and it backs on to the Yumbo Centre, which is a literal 2 minute walk away. This of course comes with added noise from the bars but with the windows and balcony doors shut, that wasn't an issue. It might be different on hot nights so maybe invest in some ear plugs if you're trying to get a good night's sleep, although that may not be the intention for everyone here! The pool looked nicely maintained and the poolside bar (complete with attractive barman) was open in the morning, so you could start your day early if you like. The staff were all very friendly and helpful too, so we have no complaints. I appreciate that not every room in a hotel will be to the same standard but ours were satisfactory and we were glad of having somewhere to stay that was within a few minutes walk of the bus stop so we could get back to the airport in the morning! Although we were travelling with family this time round, my partner and I are seriously considering staying here in future when we go away with just the two of us. We didn't take any photos as we were tired and just needed to get in and get out without too much mucking about.

Not a hotel - better described as serviced apartments. The apartments are shabby and lack basic amenities like a fridge or kettle, which is really surprising given the price. Pool area very tired. Location good but you can hear the Yumbo until 6am. Some staff are friendly. Wouldn’t stay here again because the price doesn’t reflect the amenities and service.

This was a last minute holiday for my partner and myself. We had read a lot of reviews and almost did not book because of them. However, I’m not sure where most of these complaints are coming from. As far as noise, we didn’t experience that at all. We could hear the Yomba center slightly, but if we closed our balcony door, we could not hear a thing. We had the apartment with the kitchen and it worked out fine. The place does appear to be a little tired, but they are closing this next month for refurbishment. The bedroom was a bit tight but comfortable. The place was spotlessly clean and the staff was all very friendly. Bottom line I would say the place was basic, but had everything we needed for the price.

Arrived early reception helpful and said room was ready. Room was clean and tidy nice view staff very friendly and helpful in bar area. The maid made and cleaned our room everyday and always said hello…. My only Criticism was our room was right next to 2 extract fans from the restaurant beneath hotel that were very noisy however did switch off later in the night so didn’t affect sleep. Location was great for yumba and food drinks were great for money.
