Gran Oasis Resort

The hotel is lovely and the staff are incredibly friendly and this is what makes the hotel it really does. We visited for a last minute few days break in jan 2025. The weather was a mixed bag some days felt like home with the rain haha but the rest of the time very good. Rooms are spotless we got upgraded to a pool view room 153 which was spot on. Air con worked perfectly and the beds were comfortable. Slight issue the kitchen light didn’t work and the rest are very dim so could represent a safety issue when going down the stairs to the bathroom at night time. The window to the kitchen wasn’t securely shut but it was high off the floor so no concern to us but others may not like this. It has two large pools and a baby pool which we always got a space around and was lovely as it was clearly heated ! Snack bar was a little hard to find as not sign posted anywhere but we found this on our last day. The hotel is however far away from the main resort area and it’s a good 30 min walk however the hill ( mountain ) you have to climb back to the hotel is honestly ridiculous, I didn’t realise I was mountain climbing! We loved the hotel and staff and the food was good for our short break, however Tenerife we found unfortunately a little boring and not much to do in resorts couldn’t be returning anytime soon. If we did come back we would highly recommend returning to this hotel but only for a few days as is plenty for a break in the sun.

I couldn’t fault this hotel, staff were friendly and helpful, the food was excellent, we loved the snacks, the rooms are 2 story apartments with a all round view, kitchen, living room, large bathroom and bedroom, television in both living room and bedroom and grounds were spotless, we would gladly stay here again

This hotel is situated about half an hour walk to Playa de las Americas which was fine for us. Downhill on way in, uphill on way back. We had a 2 bed upstairs downstairs apartment which was lovely. The staff were amazing and the pool area really nice. The sun beds are very close together but a sensible approach to moving them meant you had space. Everything was extremely clean and the bar staff fantastic, you never waited for a drink. The reception staff were great and answered any questions you had. Our only issue was with the food. It was a very small selection, not like any other all inclusive we have stayed at, and some of it was a bit cold. They had a BBQ one day and the burgers were cold by the time we queued up for the food. Apart from that it a brilliant family hotel (we were a couple). Lots of entertainment throughout the day and evening.

Fantastic 5 night stay at Gran Oasis resort! Everything you need for a fab holiday… good food… fabulous accommodation (2 storey 2 bed) good fun evening entertainment…it’s in the middle of Cristianos and Americas which we liked and only 6-8€ in a taxi to either if you don’t want to walk, Special mention to Renata! Wonderful, kind, caring lady… highly recommend Gran Oasis!

Writing this while getting ready to leave after an excellent 10 day break with my family. Right from check-in with the lovely Carlos we knew we had made the right decision in where we picked to stay. Every single staff member on site has been lovely and so very accommodating and made the stay incredibly enjoyable. The domestic team were fantastic and should be highly praised as they done a brilliant job. The food was excellent and there was plenty of choice and we managed to keep our fussy eater alive for 10 days. A massive thanks to the entertainment staff who were incredible and went all out to ensure everyone had a good time and were included, especially when my son sung on Karoke our first night here and the encouragement they gave him, renee and her team are amazing and remembering all the children’s names can’t be an easy task when they see so many but they done it. I will end with saying that we can’t wait to return next year for my 40th, we are already booked up and counting down ♥️

This is my 6th time at this hotel on all inclusive. This time we had the 2 bedroom apartment with roof top terrace, which is wonderful for a family consisting of 2 adults and a 13 and 15 year old. Two bedrooms and a pull out bed in the lounge. We had two showers, which was fantastic. Good all inclusive food, but restaurant can get very busy at peak times. We spent Christmas at the hotel so we had Christmas dinner, and although it was nothing like dinner at home, there was a great selection of food to choose from, including turkey. Lovely wine and a glass of Cava was served by the staff. The hotel was decorated so well for the festive season. The place is kept very clean by an army of cleaners. The entertainment is good, but I’d enjoy more music. The piano man one evening by reception was enjoyable. I prefer hanging out at the reception bar away from all the noisy children! But having said that we hung out at the entertainment area when the kids were young. There’s loads of loungers around the pool, but the prime spots go quickly! The staff are wonderful and friendly. Many of them have been there for years, and it’s nice when they remember you. I booked the spa for a massage, but there was unplanned maintenance going on the day I was booked in, so unfortunately my appointment was cancelled and it was too late to get another before I returned home. I went last time and thought it was great. I’d like to see a restaurant where you can upgrade to table service and better food and wine. Having said that, there’s loads of restaurants in town if you fancy an evening away from the hotel, which we did. There are lots of steps (and ramps) to some of the rooms, so if you are less mobile, it would be best to contact the hotel and arrange to have an accessible room. The shops are a 25 minute walk or a few minutes in a taxi from the hotel. I’m already planning my return for later in the year!
