Stayed in room 609 (standard room) from 6th - 16th August. We have had a great time and the Hotel is really beautiful. Spotless. Re rooms. Modern, looks cool and spotless clean (credit to the cleaner who worked our floor for the duration of the stay). The air con worked a treat. We were on the top floor and a great view of the ocean - but also a great view of the washing line in the apartments directly opposite . But the view across Americas made up for that. Pool. Really enjoyed the Pool area. The view from the sunbeds looking up at the Mountains and Teidi was immense. Even though it was peak holiday season there were sunbeds available quite late on in the morning. The shallower pool was the busiest in terms of reserving sunbeds (830 would probably be the latest you would want to leave it). The deeper pool I was down there for 8am because its my favourite time of the day and like an early morning swim - but you could have been there after 9 most days and got a sunbed. Cocktail of the Day was a real bargin at 4 Euro - but to be honest the cocktail prices were only 6 Euros anyway. Great value. Don't know what was going on with the pool playlist - they seemed to play the same 3 songs - have a break for half an hour then play the same 3 songs again. If I hear Shape Of You one more time I will go mad!! Food. We stayed half board as it only added 30 Euros to the price of the holiday so it was a no brainer. The novelty of the breakfast wore off after about 3 days. Most of it was perfectly acceptable just got a bit tiring. Didnt help they kept having weird sausages instead of normal ones. But it was ok. Got my moneys worth in juice and coffee. Evening Meal was ok actually. Think we ate in 4 times for conveience and enjoyed the meals and selections. Not great for kids though it has to be said. Can see why people who are all inclusive get fed up reading other reviews. All-In or Half Board never really been for us - we like self catering usually - we only did halfboard because it was only 30 quid more but had a good mix of both. Entertainment. I didn't think much of the entertainment at night. Frustrating because if you walk to the otherside of the pool on a evening and look down at their sister hotel The Troya they always seemed to have a singer on stage. Silent Discos, Magic etc not for me. The payment card. Don't mind it being cashless but it is a bit stressful paying on your card and trying to keep up with how much you have spend. Some of the staff issued a receipt everytime. Some didnt and you had to ask. They should be offered for every transaction for those not all inclusive. The noise from Veronicas. We were that end of the hotel and you could hear the music from the surrounding bars. I liked it to be honest. Sat on the balcony it was quite entertaining. When in the room with the doors closed it was like just white noise and could easily fall to asleep. Saturday night was the loudest and went on until 5am but again didnt really bother me. You jus

Very nice looking hotel. We stayed for two weeks all inclusive. When we got there late we were given a packed lunch. The room was very clean and we were in a quiet spot away from Veronica’s. We had no problems getting a sunlounger at any point of the day. However the music was the same playlist every day on a loop. I never want to hear the song despacito ever again! The music was years out of date. I like to hear the classics but also like to hear modern music. The food was good and always plenty of choice. The English breakfast not so great but there are cereals, breads and fruit etc. The only downside to the dining room is on a few occasions we saw cockroaches on the floor and walls. Luckily we didn’t see any in the food. The entertainment was ok. We especially liked the band Gotra. We don’t have children but didn’t see much going on for the children at the hotel. There was a mini disco at night which lasted for about 20mins. On our last day we had a late flight but all inclusive stops at 12pm although we were offered a lunch voucher. I’ve never stayed all inc before and been charged for drinks on the last day. This was a big downside to this hotel. I imagine it is a big expense for larger families. We had a great holiday and some of the staff were lovely and hardworking. I’d recommend this hotel to friends and family

From the minute we entered the marble foyer we were took back by the green vines hanging from everywhere, grand piano and central stair case, it truly was a luxury feel. Check in was a breeze. We had the upgraded Club Alexandria room with SPA access which didn't disappoint, spectacular views of the sea and the volcanic Tiede either side, never stopped looking at the scenery. So ill start with the food which was varied and excellent, included Cava and champagne some morning for breakfast. Food always hot and plenty of room, evening meals were excellent to with tables all set up differently so it felt proper restaurant vibe. SPA was clean and well prepared with massages starting at £33. Before going I read some reviews about it not being a four star, well, if you get picky and look closely then yes there is paint peels here and there but they were sorting this whilst we were there, for me, pool was clean, no shortage of sunbeds or sun double beds even at 2pm you had loads of choice. Hotel was fully booked but felt small and almost empty. I cannot recommend this enough for adults only but wouldn't advise kids as its mainly geared for adults. Cocktails on the all inclusive where not great but that's because of the all in bit meaning they were from a machine not hand made, paid for ones were amazing. The best hotel ive ever stayed in to date and one of the main reasons was the evening entertainment. Lots of live bands, fire-eaters and a rock experience where two Harley Motorbikes rode through the foyer into the stage area it was incredible. Location is spot on, 5 min from main las americas and 8 min from Siam Park.

We stayed here for 9 days this summer. At first glance, it looks that hotel is very good and nice. But when you stay longer, not so good things begin to pour out. What I liked was the well-functioning air conditioner in the room, which was working even when you left your room. Wi-Fi was also working well. We also loved the plants all around the hotel, especially the climbing plants which makes the interior look like a tropical garden - so green and beautiful. We chose the more expensive room, Club Alexandre, unexpectedly got a room with a balcony overlooking the pool and the ocean, what was really cool. But it's worth to mention, that you have to stand on the balcony if you want to see something, because when you are sitting on the chair, you can see only the sky, because the edges of the balcony are very high and non transparent. By the way, I was celebrating my birthday during the stay and hotel bring a greeting card with a champagne in the evening - what was nice :) Things I didn't liked during our stay... First of all, it's a FOOD. Tragic food keeping in mind, that this is a 4-star hotel. 9 mornings in a row we have found identical food for breakfast, what later started to make us sick - the same omelette, the same sausages and the same beans. Juices aren't 100% juice, they're strongly diluted with water, impossible to drink. The dinners were even worse - completely tasteless and poorly served food (how disgustingly the chicken was roughly chopped one evening - pieces of chicken were thrown into the bowl like served for the pigs, really). Is it normal to see in a 4-star hotel rotten grapes, which were served as normal (photo attached) or completely withered and juiceless grapefruits (I can't imagine how old they were). The staff is super apathetic and unhappy. No smiles, work like robots. One evening, I even said to a young man who was walking around with a super sad face without any emotions: "If you don't like this job, then simply don't work, because people come here on vacation and I don't like to see your unhappy face every single evening." Staff did not hurry to keep refilling the food, and there was a terrible mess around the buffet tables every time. Attitude of the staff was absolutely disgusting. Another important thing - the dining area is NOT AIR CONDITIONED. I specially brought a thermometer to measure temperature inside. And it showed almost +28 C in the dining area (photo attached) - that's way too much!!! That's why some of the hotel guests are bringing portable fans to the dinner table to cool off a little. And again - nobody cares about too hot temperature inside. I also saw cockroaches 3 times in the hotel area - once in the morning in the dining room, another time near the pool, and the third time in the toilet. Thanks God there was none in the room. We booked and paid for a 4 star hotel to our horror there was a sofa bed in our room which was not mentioned on Jet2 website. We were confronted by rude reception staff and the manager would not even speak to us. It took 2 days for the reception staff to change our room. This ruined our holiday. Beware if you are booking a standard room at this hotel for 3 people. You will get a sofa bed.

Very bad hotel, the room was dirty and in need of renovation. The food and the staff in the dining hall was terrible. Very close to victorias party places so the music was loud in our room. We changed rooms two times. The first smelled like ash tray, the second had a lot of tiny bugs when we arrived and we could not sleeep do to the loud music and the third was dirty and needed renovation.

What amazing week we've just had at hotel gala as a family and 1 solo room. What beautiful spacious rooms we have had and very clean. So close to the pools and restaurant. Staff where amazing and amazing with our toddler. Close to beach etc. Food was nice and toddler enjoyed it. Snack bar was good. Pools where amazing even the kids little splash pool. But also a massive shout out to Simone the photographer, he was bloody great and awesome. He absolutely adored our little family and my little toddle. What amazing pictures we got from out photoshoot in the hotel. 100% recommend this hotel and Simone the photographer! We will definitely return. Entertainment on a evening is fab! Little games room is good. We didn't get chance to do the kids little club room. Staff are so helpful and will always speak and smile to you (well us) WE stayed all inclusive
