Garden Inn and Suites Near Callaway Gardens Pine Mountain

This is a very tired old hotel. One word to describe....." grungy." Sadly, Pine Mountain doesn't have any other hotel unless you're going to stay at Callaway Gardens. Lights didn't work, outlets didn't work, overall just not good. Nor anywhere near worth 100$

Room appeared clean, until I was brushing my teeth and saw men’s hair all over the back of the sink. VERY dated, and huge moldy leak spots above shower. Considering I paid more for this room than I would for the Hampton Inn 20 mins away- I would def not stay again. They charge $10 per person for having over 2 in a room- meaning with 4 kids this was a pricey stay. Only good thing is location. Pool is apparently closed.

My family and mother in law got two rooms through Priceline, which isn’t really discounted because they only book through 3 party. They charge our card with out informing us of charges. Did the same to her mom. She didn’t even no they charged an extra $100 on her card. I found out when I got a message that it was being declined. When I asked what they were charging for they kept repeating look at the contract you signed on ***********, but wouldn’t listen when I was showing her my Priceline itinerary. They changed and charged us a different price that what Priceline stated, but we had to go with it all because they charged our card before letting us know and we didn’t have the money now to go somewhere else. They refused to give us three towels and wash clothes. They said they had already left two. When I got upset, because we checked in with 3 people, they told me I could come down in the rain to get it. I would say our beds are soft, but mother in laws room beds were like concrete. Rooms don’t look Ike pics. Extremely stained and dirty yellow bed covers. These are probably some of the worst I have seen. Poop or dirt on doors to room and bathroom. Broken fixtures, disgusting tub which the shower wasn’t working properly. All for over a $100 a night. RIP OFF!!! Take your family anywhere else. The was a black spot on our family reunion weekend. Which sucks because we only get this time in the year to get away for a 3 day vacation and we get treated like trash. P.S. Mother in law wouldn’t even stay the last night she paid for and left early.

Actually reserved this room on Priceline. It had nice pictures and good reviews. Got to the motel & the room was totally different. Had to get another room because the first room’s heat did not work. At our next room, the safety latch was literally hanging off the exterior door. There was no mirror over the bathroom sink, but you could see where it had been. The bathroom door was actually an exterior door with a full length mirror on it. We could not hang clothes on the clothes rack because it was coming out of the wall. The smoke detector was unplugged and had no battery. The heating system in the room worked better, but my husband actually cleaned the filthy air filters. The dresser had bullet holes in it. The outside stairway was rotting and unstable. We were very careful to grasp the handrail for dear life when we went up and down the stairway, especially when we were carrying luggage back-and-forth to the car. Went down to the front desk to complain and show pictures of what was wrong with the room. The front desk clerk said we needed to talk to the owner, who was at the other hotel building in the rear. We gave up because we figured talking to him wasn’t gonna do any good anyway. The front desk clerk wasn’t interested either. It wasn’t enough that the room was $107. They also charge a separate fee of $100 and if you have a pet they charged $250. If they have to clean up after a smoker, that’s $250 also although I I don’t think they would notice the difference in the room anyway, And the room information that was tacked up on the exterior door had a Days Inn heading. The ice bucket was dirty & had no plastic bag. When we asked about ice, there was no ice in the building we were in. It was in the other building where the owner seemed to hang out (probably hiding from anybody that wants to complain). Also, it was a Days Inn tray the ice bucket was on. The awful coffee packets were expired, by at least 6 months. We gave up trying to complain because we were only there for one night and also we wanted our $100 deposit back. We figure it is gonna get lost or delayed anyway. Stay anywhere else at Pine Mountain!!!

I was there as a guest of a famous restaurant owner in pine mountain ga. Early in the morning there was one knock a on the door and thr service girl walked right in..I did not have the latch on the door latched so she just walked right in demanding payment..it startled me out of a deep sleep not knowing why she just walked in..she said the bill was not paid and that I need to pay or get out..I called the person that lives 50 miles a way and they know the people that run the inn..he said he'll be there in a little bit to pay..once he paid they asked if I wanted to stay the rest of the weekend..no...I'll go to a friendlier place..these people were rude and very incompetent..I would not recommend this place if ur going to pine mountain...

This property has no justification charging a pet fee for these horribly cleaned rooms. I have reviewed this property on a different site. Stay here as a last resort and understand you pay an extra $20 to stay in a room that will not be cleaned properly for the next guest.
