We were booked in without any issues, and organised with the receptionist 2 meal deals. On arrival at our room, prior to us going down for dinner,we decided we would have a bath, unfortunately water was Luke warm at best, for both baths. When I went down to dinner, I mentioned this problem to the receptionist who checked us in,and she said she had made a note of it and would pass it on. Needless to say nothing happened. Once we,d finished dinner, and had drinks with our family,we made our way to bed, watched a bit of television, then after midnight settled down for sleep, unfortunately there was an annoying buzzing noise, which kept wakening us up. Now bear in mind we had already been told when we booked we had got the last room,so at this late hour what could have been achieved, but in our reply from customer services we were told it should have been addressed there and then. We now move on to breakfast. Bearing in mind we had convinced 2 family members to purchase a breakfast, this turned out to be an embarrassment. Firstly we saw 3 staff running the breakfast room,a young lad, older chap, and 1 lady behind hot counter, this when hotel was full. First problem,no orange juice, second coffee machine needed more beans, only 2 crusts of white bread left,3 crumpets left, which a lady Infront pointed out had green mould on. Eventually in time all sorted. Next off to hot plate. No beans ready,or bacon,or tomatoes, sausages,or eggs,a few mushrooms left and 2 hash browns. We asked lady behind counter for fried eggs, and 2 poached. The food came out in dribs and drabs. Firstly a tray of hash brown, then tomatoes etc etc,and lady admitted she was totally overwhelmed, son gave up on poached eggs and settled for fried. On check out we mentioned to reception desk Firstly about breakfast fiasco. Secondly hot water issue from previous night Thirdly buzzing noise in bedroom, once again,we were told we can only apologise and will pass it on. Unfortunately communication must not be a strong point with premier inn.
