Jeg planlagde oprindeligt at bo på dette hotel i 2 nætter, hvilket blev betragtet som højdepunktet på turen, men det ødelagde næsten turen. Heldigvis stoppede jeg tabet i tide og forhandlede med hotellet om at refundere den anden nat. Jeg boede i Villa nr. 4, med 3 soveværelser ovenpå og et lille soveværelse i midten. Der er to værelser nedenunder, et stort og et lille. Problemet blev afsløret efter indflytning... 1. Perronen sagde, at den var nyrenoveret i 2023, men det viste sig, at den slet ikke var blevet renoveret, og det var stadig den samme udsmykning og faciliteter, som da den åbnede i 2007 2. Der var ikke engang en tandkop i køkkenet 3. Det lille soveværelse nedenunder var fyldt med sand, og der stod myrer på bordet første gang kom rengøringen kun for at rense sandet, men han sagde, at han ikke kunne løse myrerne. Da jeg skulle til at gå i seng om natten, fandt jeg ud af, at klimaanlægget ikke kunne justere temperaturen. Det var altid 16 grader, og jeg ringede til en tekniker for at reparere det natten Det kunne stadig ikke rettes klokken 12 midt om natten. I denne periode kommunikerede jeg med receptionen mange gange for at spørge, om jeg kunne skifte værelse. Enten sagde de, at der ikke var nogen ledige værelser, eller også sagde de, at jeg skulle tjekke og svare senere, men der var nej svar. Efter morgenmaden næste dag gik jeg til receptionen for at forhandle. Det var bare en simpel undskyldning, at klimaanlægget ikke kunne repareres... 4. Hotellet var gammelt, og der var alle slags insekter på værelset. . og når det regnede, var det let at gå ud i stuen og stå over for en vandpyt værelse ovenpå drypper, og der er en enorm kraft...

The staff are welcoming, professional, and always willing to help. From the front desk to the boat crew, everyone contributes to a smooth and relaxing stay. Shuttle boats to and from the mainland run frequently and are well-organized.

Room was perfect, the vibe by the pool was lively but service was a bit slow

The service was EXCELLENT as always. It was our second time back and we would go there again. Great food, great service and great rooms!

Location is a bit off but with very good service. Price at high end, staff is very friendly and room is very clean. All inclusive packages is not recommended except you are a foodie and likes to drink alcohol alot. :)

We had a fantastic stay at Barcelo Coconut Island! We originally had a different hotel booked, but after seeing it, we realized we couldn’t stay there — it was terrible. We came back to Barcelo the same day because we just couldn’t imagine staying anywhere else. The resort feels like a real escape: beautiful modern villas, a private beach that stays calm even during the rainy season, and peaceful surroundings with genuinely pleasant guests. Breakfasts were quite good, and the staff made us feel welcome at every step. Barcelo felt like home — we’re so glad we returned. Highly recommend!

The staff were super friendly. They upgraded our garden pool villa to a sea view pool villa when we got here. The villa was beautiful and we had the greatest time. They have a variety of foods. We experienced the sister island Rang Yai Island, it was exceptionally beautiful when we took a trip there. Crystal clear water to swim in and white sandy beaches to laze on. The pools at the facility are also amazing and we spent most of the time in them. It was an amazing experience!!

Beautiful resort with great staff and amenities. Ideal for family that want to stay on the resort, free boat to the mainland included if required. We didn't eat/drink at the resort as we wasn't inclusive and the prices were very high, plus they +10%service and +7VAT on top of the advertiser prices. Restaurant next door was 5minute walk along the beach and alot more reasonable for foos and beverages. Overall very nice hotel resort.

Big rooms, shower was poor. Private pool not very clean. Food was very good, much choice! Boat trip just 5 minutes and always available when we were there.

The villa we stayed in was beautiful with really nice amenities- expect prices to be at a premium in comparison to the mainland but remember you are getting the island experience in return ! - The staff where really friendly, helpful and attentive. on a side note I’m not the type of traveller to write a poor review however in this case I must add that during the few weeks I’ve travelled through phuket really poor guest behaviour was a standout at this resort - the resort must put in measures towards dealing with the poor guest culture they are allowing towards the employees and other guests - There is no expectation in place for guests social etiquette nor a security presence to support employees or guests - A consideration I would definitely take into account prior to choosing this resort for a special occasion / a place of relaxation during your holiday. Barcelo are a great hotel group and I’ve stayed with them at several of there locations , however the complete lack of consideration towards the guest culture of the resort , barcelos island paradise will end in island nightmare

The resort is fine, overal good service. The only thing you need to keep in mind is the prices are higher because it’s a island. There not a lot of thing to do on the island besides from the activities the resorts offers. But the rooms where great and clean. So i would recommend 2 days just to see. There is a boat taxi every hours to the mainland and back.
