pool good but location no good managers very kind food little good

This hotel is a hidden gem. The rooms are spacious, well equipped, the beds are comfortable. The view and the private pool make truly unique. The breakfast is great, the staff is friendly. We would be happy to come back.

Absolutely amazing! Out of this world. So relaxing, our trip in Thailand was non stop adventure but this place was in the middle of our break & it was so lovely to just relax and take in the amazing view. Very private 5 ⭐️ do not hesitate to book this place, you will not regret it

Had a fantastic stay at this resort! Highly recommended, the room was huge and very clean. The staff were very attentive and couldn’t do enough for you! We had the floating breakfast and a bbq by our private pool and it was brilliant! Food was great, cocktails were even better.

Wow! Just wow! This place is a hidden gem. So glad we booked here. We usually stay in the heart of Patong, but this time we decided to end our holiday with something different & calming. So glad we did!! From check in to check out all the staff were truly amazing. We arrived early (due to times checking out of Patong hotel) & they allowed us to check in early-no hassles at all. While we waited we were served cold drinks (it was very hot) guided to our room & given a walk around on arrival was a lovely personal touch. Room service & buffet breakfast was delicious & all served by such lovely friendly staff every time. We had a partial sea view deluxe & it was fine - would be nicer higher up, but still had amazing views & so peaceful. Shuttle bus daily in & out of Patong & Kamala was really good. We hired a scooter for the time we stayed so we weren’t completely reliant on the shuttle or taxis. We had a late flight out so asked if we could get a late check out & once again the staff were extremely accommodating & happy to help us - even organised a late taxi transfer to airport. For the price we paid here for 4 days - we were extremely happy with everything!! Staff throughout the entire place were so lovely to deal with. Highly recommend here for anyone looking for a nice private stay. We will definitely be back & thankyou to all the staff for making our stay here so memorable ❤️

The resort is quiet, cleanliness and suitable for couples. The rooms which has a private pool. An excellent choice, especially the upper floors. The staff are helpful and always smiling. There is halal food for Muslims. Not a large variety, but acceptable. There are also free buses to the markets. I recommend it for relaxation , but it is a little far from the country and activities. It can be part of your trip in Phuket for relaxation and recreation.

Amala Grand is the best among economical stays with private pool in Phuket. Though it is on the hilltop, you will feel you are locked away from civilisation. Although they do provide free shuttle services to Patong and Kamala beach nearby. But since the hotel is away from shops and markets, you would end up spending a good amount on taxis to get around the city. Its best to leave the hotel around 12 and come back directly at night after you're done enjoying what the island has to offer. But the hotel is very well spaced out, great food, all kinds of cuisines available, and even better drinks by the abled bartender. The front desk ladies are very friendly and hospitable. The resort is very clean. The pool in every room is the icing on the cake. Although I would suggest to install an overhead shower. The room had a microwave for those takeaway streetside thai foods. The fridge was well stocked. They provided extra towels for the pool and everything. They had a business centre, they had a tourism desk, they even arranged for my cab drop to airport with a brief visit to Mai Khao beach on the way where the driver had to wait for an hour.

Excellent service, pristine room and 5* facilities. Breakfast has a huge variety of food, free " taxi" to Kamala and Patong. Staff is always willing to help and our private pool is the icing on the cake. Restaurant food is delicious presented in a traditional way and with generous portions. We are staying here until the 16th of April and we absolutely love it. Away from busy roads and crowds surrounded by nature. We really don't understand why some people write silly and inconvenient reviews especially about geckos or wasps and the access being a bit difficult. My advice is read exactly the hotel description and then book it or not... Yes there are geckos at night but don't think they are dinosaurs as they will not attack you. Wasps or other night insects just keep your doors closed and they will not disturb you. This is the nature of the place, gorgeous forests and a huge fauna and flora variety. This is nature at its best. Thank you guys

Best value for money. The rooms are spacious. The pool and the view is beautiful ❤️. The reception team especially mew and the bar team -knot and a traniee who was in evening shift are great- efficient and friendly in their service. Food and cocktails are amazing It was short but good stay.

The view is very nice. I switch between 3 hotel during my sty and this one has the best view to the value of it. I like that they provide a shuttle bus to Patong beach. But they should be more trips. Its a bit old. U can see scratches all over the room. The pillow was smelly. Overall cleaning is not good at this place.

Wow. My husband and I were both jaw dropped when we walked into our private pool suite. The photos are great, but its another thing to walk into the room and take in the view yourself. We arrived by the airport shuttle service (clean car, great driver, no issues at all, we also took this service back to the aiport), checked-in, and we were welcomed into our room with soft jazz music playing on the TV. We immediately jumped into the pool. It was refreshing to jump in each morning and when we got back from our day trips around Phuket. The pool is pretty deep and big enough to swim a couple of strokes across - great for a relaxing dip. Our room looked out toward the west and we were able to watch the sunset. The room included a nice kitchenette area for meals, a nice living room area for lounging and watching background TV/movies, a bathroom with a nice tub for soaking in, and a bedroom with a cozy bed and ample closet/drawer space. The manger Pawan checked in on us, provided recommendations, and was very responsive. The staff was always responsive and graciously hospitable. We had no issues getting extra towels, ordering room service, or having any questions answered. The food was delicious. Definitely get the Indian breakfast! It was so tasty. We enjoyed orderinf lunch/dinner as well - all of the food was tasty and delivered fresh and warm to our room. We ate at the restaurant downstairs as well, which had a very beautiful ambiance to it. The resort provided a very convenient shuttle service that goes to two different areas - Kamala for a more relaxed beach setting and Patong for a more lively and busy scene. The shuttle gave us the chance to chat with other golks staying at the resort, too, so we could share and learn from each other about Patong/Kamala/the area in general. The shuttle had three different drop-off/pick-up times for Patong and two for Kamala. If we wanted to visit these areas or return to the resort on our own time, it was very easy to get a tuk-tuk or call a Grab (similar to Uber or Lyft), which cost 400-500 Baht. No one refused to take us to our resort because of the hill, and we are two larger-bodied people. All around, I have nothing but good things to say about the Amala Grand Bleu, and I look forward to staying there again someday. Thank you to everyone who helped make our stay magical.
