This is our favourite resort! It’s our second time staying here and we are even more in love with it the staff than the first time! Kai and Diem are amazing receptionists and we consider them friends! Bao, senior server and the breakfast staff Minh and Nuong are always ready to help and waiting with smiles as are all the breakfast staff, sorry I don’t know all of their names. I got bad food poisoning in Hanoi and was very sick the first night we arrived but the staff was very helpful and concerned and helped us through it. They are all very genuine and special people. The resort is spotless and all the rooms are spotless. The cleaning ladies are the sweetest!! The grounds and pool are maintained all day everyday. The beds and bedding are super comfy. The air con is cold and the shower has good water pressure and is hot. Breakfast is super! So many options and all delicious. The most amazing baguette I’ve had in Vietnam and I am still dreaming about it! Many choices of Vietnamese, western and Asian foods. Good coffee and excellent fruit selection. You can rent motorbikes at the resort. There are many options of food close to the resort. There is really nothing I can say negative about Kingo Resort Retreat, I would like to keep the resort all to myself but the secret is out because it really is very good and very booked up especially during the holidays. Really a fantastic intimate resort. Quiet and private away from the busy city of Phu Quoc. We will be back, that is for sure!! 10/10!!!

I like the service here. Staffs are so friendly and always happy to help us, smile to us and greet us when we came and left. Really recommend this resort to someone who wanna be away from the noise of city and busy life👍 i like the breakfast too😋 The only thing is the road leading to the resort is little dark 😳

Overall, this hotel is good! Pros: - peace and quite, nice hotel environment for relaxation. - Pleasant staff, even when we check out, a staff comes to our room door to help us grab our baggage to the reception counter. - Spacious room, toilet and bath room (both shower and bath tube available). - 2-king sized beds, great! - Free airport transfer, better email the hotel directly to make your request at least one day in advance. - It’s a small scaled resort, but reasonable varieties of choices in breakfast. - Free minimal water for refill. - Welcome drink and fruit at room - free bike rental Cons: - the resort is located in a very remote area, like inside a village. Many taxi drivers not sure the location, so many times they lose their ways to the hotel. - Actually, not recommend for 1-2 girls to book this hotel, its remoteness is really a big concern, both day time and night time! - I feel scared in the toilet and shower area, because they install something like mosquito net only in window areas. That means I can see through outside, vice versa. I wonder I may see some eyes starring at me when I shower at night…. Scary! - Their hot water tap takes over 15 mins for heating, wasting lot of water to wait for shower… - Eco-friendly hotel, they provide plastic reusable sandals, so better bring your own sandals if needed

Amazing hidden gem! The best service hands down! The staff are excellent and will help you with anything. Always smiling. We stayed here 4 nights. Pool is great! The area is very quiet and you’re in and amongst the sounds of nature. Breakfast was Included with our booking and is awesome! The restaurant is very very good and will serve you in your room, at the pool, or in the indoor/outdoor dining area. I cannot recommend this place enough. Skip the hotels in the southern part of the island and come up here.

Friendly service, very clean and nice environment. Free tuk tuk bus to go beach. Stuffs are so kind.

Kongo resort is a little out of the main town but restaurants not far to walk to. This resort is clean and stunning grounds. The pool was perfect large gray sun beds in and out of the pool. Towels are ready for you to use for the pool or the beach there is a golf buggy that is there to take you to the beach. The breakfast is delicious so much to choose from. The restaurant food is great and reasonable prices. I definitely will return to this hotel.

This is a great place for a relaxing holiday. The staff goes out of their way to make you feel comfortable and cared for. I had to leave the resort for my flight at 3:00 am and they helped me sort out the transportation, and they even packed me a sandwich! I would go back in a heartbeat!

Five++ star service! The hotel was a good getaway for a beach resort.. The staff went absolutely out of their way to help me with every thing I needed. The rooms were equipped with everything, it was clean. I must commend the staff one more time on their professionalism and friendliness.. I bumped into some of them at a restaurant down the road and we dined, they were playing games and were so welcoming... I would definitely come back here... They sorted out my covid test, took me to the airport, arranged my trips.... Thank you all, it was a pleasure.....
