Days Inn by Wyndham Airport - Phoenix

The place is nothing like the pictures. The the rooms are very dirty. The rooms also had a very nasty smell. The owner was very rude. As well as the person he was training. The missing form as well. Not worth the money.

Had an issue where flight from Sky Harbor got pushed to the next day, so was looking for a very last minute stay for one night until returnng to the airpot in the morning. Booked this quickly online as it was available and had a shuttle. Genuinely regret not taking a few additional minutes to peruse reviews as I normally would have or I would have doled out the extra money for a different stay. The room was dingy and gross (dirty scuffed walls, visible stains on the curtains and bedskirt) and the location and people milling about made me so uncomfortable I did actually go and ask for a refund about 30 minutes in. I was told since it was past 5 minutes he could only possible refund me 20% of my cost, and even then it would be up to the manager who would decide in the morning. I literally had sat in the room for like half an hour and didn't touch anything. And being so last minute, this absolute gross room already had cost me $200. I was frustrated and went back to the room to decide if it was worth losing $160. The cost for that room was absolute robbery. The only reason I sat in the room as long as I did was because there were men talking literally right outside my door loudly and crudely. Genuinely regret not just immediately leaving as soon as I got there. By the time I got back to the room, the people talking crudely outside had left and it had at least quieted down. Ultimately I did decide to stay as it would just be to sleep for a few hours and despite the walls and room itself looking nasty, the sheets themselves thankfully did appear clean (the one small and only redeeming aspect). I did literally push the desk in front of the door though to feel more secure in the room. Thankfully I also had earplugs to drown out the outside noise. The place was clearly kind of a sketchy hotbed, and noticed later in the lobby when checking out that there was a whole wall of people "evicted" or banned from 'renting' rooms. Not a good sign. I left the next morning basically as soon as I could by getting a Lyft somewhere else to get breakfast before returning to the airport. No shuttle was worth hanging around there killing time or longer than needed. Seriously, go elsewhere. Whatever cost difference is worth it.

Do not stay here. This hotel should be avoided at all costs. We booked through Trip.com based on reputation of Days Inn and pictures of the property. We prepaid for the room sight unseen because we were traveling. Once we arrived and saw the hotel and the surrounding area we did not feel safe and did not want to stay. The desk clerk said the pictures of the hotel have not been updated for 4 years. Room access is an outside door and we were concerned about theft or damage to our rental car. The manager refused ti give us a refund because we booked through Trip.com and the amount was prepaid.

I'm being generous with 2 stars. This room with taxes was $141 and SO not worth it. I arrived here late after my flight arrived and was quite tired. The lobby was locked as apparently only 1 person is allowed entry at a time. Fine, but it took the guy a while before he came over to unlock it. Then it took him quite a while to check me in with no offer of help to lug my suitcase up to the 2nd floor - no elevator. The room was poorly lit and just looked grungy in places. There is no light over the sink which is outside the bathroom, so it's very difficult to see yourself in the mirror, especially at night. One of the bulbs by the bed had no cover over it - just a bare bulb. Classy. The room just felt dingy and not at all cozy. There was a fridge but the freezer had not been cleaned properly and still had remnants of food from a prior guest. Ick. It was also pretty loud but I expected that so I had ear plugs, which I highly recommend. Outside the "lobby" were the soda and ice machines, neither of which I would use if I were dying of thirst. Both were filthy and the soda machine was melted in a couple places - seriously. DO NOT STAY HERE! The only good thing is that there's a shuttle from the airport, but I would not use that as my reason in the future. Use Uber and get an airbnb that allows late arrival. This place was a dump and not priced accordingly.

One of the sketchiest hotels I've ever stayed in. Luckily, it was only for a few short hours before catching an early fight. The lobby was bare and dingy, about as welcoming as an abandoned bus station. The room reminded me of a beat up college dorm room. At least the beds & bathroom were clean. If not, we would have left. No free breakfast that I saw. I do not recommend this hotel unless you don't mind the shabby conditions in exchange for a cheap room.

I was forced to stay in Phoenix for one night due to missing my connecting flight the room was dirty and hadn’t been cleaned from the previous occupant there was even rubbish in the waste bin really terrible
