Moxy Phoenix Downtown

I can't tell you what an amazing experience my best friend and I had staying here. We were in town to see Justin Timberlake. Upon check in we were heated with a smile by "Jelly". You receive a "free drink" coupon with your stay. I don't drink so she make me the most beautiful Shirley Temple. The "Stash" closet had all the things I needed that I forgot at home. Such a quaint room. I love the vintage look and feel of the whole place. I didn't want to leave. ONLY downside was parking. You are pretty much forced to valet park.

We had never heard of Moxy Hotels but we were very pleased with our experience. It was excellent. It had a vibe which I used to ascribe to W Hotels. The ground floor bar area was funky and loud but very enjoyable. Highly recommend.

Great stay at the Moxy with a smallish business group. The hotel and our contact, Nikki, were outstanding. The hotel is close to everything and has a neat vibe. Yes - the rooms are smaller but for our business group they worked like a charm. We found them to be incredibly clean and efficient. There is a nice loft/library area above the lobby to spread out and get some work done between group meeting. I had it all to myself when I used it and it made up for the limited room desk space. The hotel’s bar was engaging enough that most of us did not need to venture out after dinner which was nice. Great bar staff and lots of good options for drinks, food and eat. The hotel also did a nice job matching us up with meeting space nearby at the Arrogant Butcher. My 6th floor end of hall room was nice. Room 627 was an end room on the backside. I’d suggest to get as high as you can. One morning there was some early trash collection noise but the other quite quiet. The higher even side are street side with nice views but some street car noise. All in all, a great experience and I would go back! Again, ideal for a smaller group.

From the noisy mechanical room(my fault) to the noisy a/c to the noisy street car and street noise, this room was just not good. It was tiny(my fault) , very little room for two people. I booked it for the Marriott name and its proximity to Chase Fiekd. Not again. Staff was awesome though.

New hotel, clean, quite, great location, great staff. But it's not very comfortable. Rooms are very small. Literally no room between your bed and the walls on either side. The mattresses are hard and each bed comes with a low-quality bed sheet and a thin bed cover. 2 small sleeping pillows. The desk is akin to an airline tray table and your desk chair is a small wooden stool. I get the whole cool vibe and all, but the comfort level is frankly not far from a Motel 6.

Eren (General Manager) and his entire staff did an amazing job hosting our group block! Claire was hospitable and professional during the arrival process. The room was spotless with great attention to details. The fitness center has everything you need to continue your workout routine while away from home. Joshua and Kie provided exceptional service and personalized my experience at the bar. When in Phoenix Downtown, stay at the Moxy!
