Out of this world interior decor and service. Really made phnom pen city my favourite part of the tour. I was allocated a room in the annexe over the road and initially was upset. However it is just the same as the main hotel. The decor service and room was exceptional and a repeat of the main hotel. There are usually staff on the road to assist you to cross and open doors! The staff even lined up to wave our group off in the coach when we checked out. The tiny pools are exotic and cold which is just what you need. It’s a short walk to a lively and interesting street for dinner. The spa massage was the best I had. They ask if there are any areas to avoid or concentrate on, you choose the scent of the oil and get a specific therapist according to the pressure you like best. There were dancers over dinner one night and the food was delicious. Drinks were good too which was quite rare. My room was so big and beautiful my arm hairs actually stood on end!! It was bigger than my first ever flat in London. If you like exotic, ancient Bali type styling, wonderful attentive staff and a hotel that minuses plastic waste then you’ve found your place.

Arrived with a group and were met by the exceptional staff at La Rose Suites in Phnom Penh. Centrally located on a side street from a large boulevard, close to restaurants, the Imperial Palace, the River and sights. In the area around is a micro brewery, laundry and convenience stores. The hotel itself is rated 4 star but could easily be a 5 due to the staff. Had a corner room with a ton of space, a small but serviceable balcony, and all amenities in the room. Beds were comfortable, a variety of pillows available, and an in room fridge available. Massages in hotel were fantastic, special shout out to Cheng. Dinner was excellent, and often included an Aspera dancer and musicians for quiet entertainment, and breakfasts were complete with good selection. Pools were small but perfectly maintained. As mentioned pool bar area is small and needs a little attention and maybe a little more selection, but it met our needs. Bar staff were eager to learn how to make various drinks for us! The hotel also supports an after school english program for less fortunate children from poorer areas, and some of the staff are graduates of that program. Some of our group went to the school to interact with the kids and add some supplies for them. Great experience! The staff were wonderful and completely there to add to our experience. The entire group felt this was a high point of our tour across 12 different hotels and 4 countries. Highly recommended!
