Cap St Georges Hotel & Resort

Probably the best hotel in Cyprus. Everything was very nice. I am looking forward for the nest trip to this beautiful hotel.

We had a wonderful week at this hotel with our 10 year old. Absolutely gorgeous property immaculately kept, helped of course by gorgeous weather. The highlights The beach - really was fabulous and ended up spending each day on a cabana dipping in & out of the clear blue water. Initially had no issues getting a cabana but towards the end a number of British & Russian guests were taking cabanas before breakfast and then not showing up until later than 10:30. Beach service was very good too. Kohili Restaurant - in terms of a location you cannot beat this looking down onto the beach and just a magnificent sunset. The live music was fantastic. All the wait staff were fantastic as too was the hostess. We were on half board and actually ended up eating here most nights because of the ambiance. Room - high ceilings, very clean great views. Can’t fault. Room for improvement Main swimming pool - while it looked gorgeous it wasn’t heated, I believe because they really want it to remain looking pristine without kids playing in it. Was a real shame it’s not heated. Restaurants - the 3 you have to choose from are fine but not to the level we have expected and was all a little lack in flavour. Kids camp - really for younger kids

After a night at the worst hotel in Paphos we found the CSG and after an early morning call they sent a taxi to rescue us and we were in the lobby with a cold drink and a warm welcome within an hour. The pool area is lovely and no shortage of beds towels anything you might need . After a restorative cosmopolitan and some sliders everything felt better. Our rooms were very luxurious and had everything you could want. Robes and products all lovely. Feedback from us would be that the blackout curtains don’t quite block out the gorgeous sunrise but that on the room front was all. The gym opens from 8 and 7 would have been ideal as we were up early with the sun but otherwise it was fully stocked and a really great gym . We didn’t make it to the spa as felt very treated as we’re were but it looked great and the staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfasts were a real treat everything you could possibly want and the staff were all utterly fantastic . Couldn’t rate having a better breakfast anywhere we have stayed . Restaurants were lovely kohili and bonsai were the best and the manager and staff were busy but very attentive. We would have liked another choice maybe a steak place but that’s just a tiny thing. Where the restaurants are located the kitchens cooking must be satalite as sometimes the wait was long so with kids they got bored but once we got used to ordering there food to come first it was all great. Consistency would be the only feedback we didn’t get water refreshed in rooms everyday so maybe a water fountain would be good as we both drink 4 litres each a day. Sliders were different at the pool and kohili so as you know with kids this can be a challenge but really wasn’t a huge problem once we knew. Sometimes the pool staff served very quick but sometimes same had long waits for the order to be taken but really we could just get up and order at the bar so again not an issue just inconsistent. The cocktail night with managers was a nice touch but we stumbled across is as we didn’t turn on the tv so didn’t get the message but was a lovely touch. We travel a lot high with kids and just us and we would like to come back again as it really had everything we wanted and we look forward to seeing how the resort grows and coming back again. Cleopatra spa the Therapie with Sotia was amazing!!! And the Resort is also amazing ! Beach top 🔝 Landscape wonderful Sea clean and clear Stuff in Restaurants and Beach are very friendly 🔝🔝🔝🔝🔝🔝🔝🔝🔝 Would come back again Also in the end of october the Weather and the sea are warm !

This is without doubt a good hotel and I’d agree with most of the good points that other reviewers have noted. There are however a few areas that need improving. The service is very hit & miss, sometimes you can get a drink near the pool easily, other times it takes ages. One day we had to wait 2 hrs for a salad at lunchtime (at the pool) and just kept being told the kitchen was busy. Evening meals are also quite long, we took 2.5hrs in the teppenyaki which wasn’t ideal with a child. Waiters in general don’t seem to be very happy or chatty and didn’t seem concerned about how long things take. The food is pretty good in general without being amazing. However what lets it down sometimes is the consistency. Dishes vary in quality massively from one day to the next - Greek salad one day has olives, the next day has no olives, the lava cake dessert was also totally different from one day to the next as well as the sashimi platter. You just never know what you’re going to get. Burger medium rare was almost raw, smoothies were also sometimes undrinkable as they were sometimes made with water not apple juice. A big point to mention is the pool, it’s very nice and the sun beds are the best we have seen BUT the water temp in October was only 19 degrees C when the air was 25+. This is fine if you want to swim lengths but not great for kids. It does keep it quiet though. The sea was 25 degrees but has a lot of sharp rocks. The sports facilities are great but the padel court was almost unplayable due to the poor quality balls - bring your own. Why spend so much building a great padel court and give guests rubbish old balls? There are some bikes to hire from nextbike and a good cycle path up and down the coast, the bikes are not very good but quite cheap to rent.

Amazing Hotel, everything feels very plush and nice. Staff are super friendly and helpful. SPA is definitely one of the best on the island and the therapists are super experienced. Would definitely recommend you ask for Nadeesha. Amazing experience.

We had an amazing 5-day vacation at Cap St Georges. The hotel exceeded all our expectations, especially in terms of the outstanding guest services from the Gues Services desk at the lobby . Special thanks to Zoe and the other guest service representatives, whose exceptional support and attention made our stay even more enjoyable. They provided us with helpful advices and made sure everything went smoothly, from arranging golf lessons to booking awesome buggy rentals The property itself is stunning, with beautiful surroundings and great amenities that kept the whole family entertained. From start to finish, it was a perfect experience, and we will definitely be returning for another stay. Hopefully the coming summer. Thank you to Zoe and the wonderful staff for making our vacation so memorable!

This is the second time we are in this hotel. We came back for two main reasons: the first - because of Zoe. Her personal attitude, caring, availability, the way she cares and handles things is simply unimaginable. It is one of a kind and you will protect it like a big diamond. Apart from her, the rest of the employees at the hotel are all lovely and we knew most of them from last time. We will specifically mention the stunning waitress Nadia, because of which every evening we ate with the girls at the Italian restaurant because they only wanted to eat at Nadia's 😭😭 Even when we went out to eat at a restaurant outside the hotel, when we came back we went to order some dishes at Nadia's 😅. Simply amazing. Regarding the hotel - stunning as usual, good food, excellent restaurants, clean clean clean clean and meticulous. Cleanliness is the most important. What was a bit of a bummer is that you stopped heating the middle pool outside. Last year the water there was very, very warm. And this year, even though I contacted and asked, you didn't warm it up. You tried to explain to me that it can't be heated.. but I and those who were with me are not wrong and I also asked one of the workers from last year at the pool and he told me that they stopped heating it because it is expensive. The second main reason we came to this hotel because we remembered that even when it's cold there is one pool with very hot water and it's fun to be in it with the kids. Which ruined the experience for us because we couldn't be in the pool for more than two days which was pleasant and everything else was cool. We hope you will return to this procedure of heating the water. Beyond that, the gameplay is stunning. The gardens there are stunning, and the location of the hotel is excellent. We will continue and come back every year to visit. And if you heat the middle pool, we will come back 3 times a year even during transitional seasons. Thank you very much for everything. We visited for 3 nights in September with our 3 year old. The hotel felt very luxurious from first entering the hotel. We were greeted at the car and told to sit down on the sofas and staff came to us to help with the check in and also gifted our toddler with a soft teddy. This whole process made check in very smooth and the hotel really made you feel like nothing was any trouble for them. Our room was truly beautiful and would really recommend the private pool rooms for a special occasion. The food on the half board was really good value and would really recommend upgrading to half board The main area of improvement I would say is that a supermarket onsite is needed as you are a taxi journey away from any or you would need car hire.
