Peterborough (Hampton)

I stayed two nights at Premier inn Hampton from 22nd to 24th June 2025 for leisure as it is a convenient location for exploring both the Fens to the East of Peterborough and Rutland to the West as well as Peterborough city itself. It’s a comfortable hotel and is a modern building with all you normally get at a Premier inn. The only thing you might miss is there is no air conditioning in the rooms but it’s mainly the city centre cites only which do have it as standard so if it’s summer it can get a bit warm. There is a comfortable Brewers fayre restaurant joined to the hotel which is perfectly adequate for most people’s needs. They do a nice Sunday afternoon carvery for those who fancy a Sunday roast which I did and it was very good value for money. The staff are friendly and there is plenty of space for parking right outside which is free for hotel guests as long as you log your vehicle registration on the touch screen located in the reception. An enjoyable stay.

Usual Premier Inn: convenient location and lots of parking. Friendly welcome too. Doesn’t have air con and therefore rooms somewhat warm. Provision of a fan, iced water and ensuring curtains shut and windows open is appreciated. However definitely needs to address this when it’s refurbished.

Lovely stay on a very hot weekend, large fans in all of the rooms we had, staff offered sheets rather than using the duvet and were greeted back at 1 am with ice pops to help combat the heat

Used a few times as close to family this hotel is always reliably good. No air-con but they'd place a fan in the room ready for us. Without prompting - nice touch on one of the hottest says so far. Simple but excellent breakfast , everything was just right - even the toaster was behaving itself!

Absolutely exquisite stay. Nice clean rooms, very quiet nights and lovely staff. What more could you possibly ask for. Checked in by a polite fellow named Adam at the desk swiftly and without any troubles. His colleague (no name badge) quickly brought some extra pillows for my wife on request. Thank you to the premier inn Hampton team.

Always a warm welcome when I stay hear which is a couple of times a year. Jade welcomed me like an old friend and made me feel like comfortable. The hotel is always clean and smells fresh, the room as usual is clean and aired. Plenty of parking and food near buy. I can't praise this hotel enough.
