Hôtel des Rochers

We were here just a couple of nights, and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. There was no problem with parking, which is rare in France. Rooms were fine, staff were friendly and helpful, breakast offered a very good range and standard of food, in a room with panoramic views over the harbour. We also had dinner here one night, and that was a high standard French seafood meal. Location is excellent for walking access to town and to coastal walks. We'd be very happy to stay here again.

We were here 8 years ago as a French friend recommended the Perros-Guirec area as being beautiful. We stayed at this hotel 8 years ago for a week, and had a lovely time exploring the area. This time we stayed a couple of nights, and once again, the hotel excelled in its comfort and hospitality. The restaurant food was also wonderful. The cleaning is exceptional, and we would come back again next time we are in France.

This hotel is a great place to stay. The location is ideal for what we wanted, right on the water and walkable to places to eat and things to do. We got a room with a water view which seems worth it. The room was a good size. The only drawback was the carpet, which could use some updating. Otherwise, it's a great value. The breakfast team is really stand out, super nice and helpful.

My wife and I had a most enjoyable stay in this hotel. We are both around 80 years old and service provided in the hotel was seond to none. All the staff were very helpful and caring. The room/small suite which we had was first class designed in the form of a cruiser cabin with views over the small boats in the harbour. The food in the restaurant was in the top class of french food. Having spent many nights(more than 1500) in French hotels when I was working. I can truthfully say that I have not stayed in any better hotel than Hotel des Rochers in France. I can thoroughly recommend it.

The Hotel des Rochers is located on a small harbor in a very quiet part of the granite coast. Check-in wasn't particularly friendly, with a bare minimum exchange, though admittedly, I don't speak French! No information on the hotel or the area was offered. The room was simple, but had good amenities: bedside lamps, a TV, comfortable bed, big bathroom with a large counter for personal items, which is always appreciated. There was a good shower with nice hot water. My room was in the back, so there wasn't a view, though there was a large balcony -- which wasn't used. I didn't notice until late the next day that coffee/tea might be available in the lobby, though there wasn't any water in the kettle and I didn't see a way to fill it, so I wasn't able to partake. I have mixed feelings about my stay in Ploumanac'h which aren't entirely the fault of the hotel. There is an extremely lovely walk along the coast here beginning just steps from the hotel -- perhaps my favorite during my trip to France. It's a great base for exploring the pink rocks. However, I arrived after a very long day of travel which included hiking, lots of driving and no lunch. I had received the email from the hotel urging booking for the hotel restaurant in advance, but I just didn't want a fancy dinner and thought I'd be able to find a place for a simple crepe/salad/sandwich. Unfortunately, there was not a single restaurant in town that could make room for a table for one, or even any takeout! It was strange to be turned away at every single place. This was a shocker for me, and something to note if you are coming to town. I couldn't even find an open market of any sort. I returned to the hotel to ask again if there was any way they could get me some food, but they said they couldn't. I ultimately had to go to another town to get a burger that I ate in the room.

Un séjour très agréable, dans une chambre spacieuse avec sa terrasse privative donnant sur le port de Ploumanac’h. Accueil agréable, très bon petit-déjeuner, sans oublier le dîner pris au restaurant de l’hôtel, deux soirs de suite, ce que nous ne faisons jamais. Grande qualité des plats, recherchés et délicats. Situation au calme, tout près du sentier des douaniers, propice à de très belles balades.

une équipe sympa un hôtel de rêve un restaurant a faire danser les papilles le couple du sud venu pour célébrer l anniversaire ,pense à un prochain voyage au même endroit, la même chambre, les mêmes repas sans oublier les conseils du sommelier

Hôtel authentique avec une vue superbe sur le port Tarif vraiment abordable compte tenu des prestations Chambre très propre et quelle surprise à notre arrivée nous avons été surclassés Petite terrasse c’est vraiment un plus avec ces magnifiques bateaux de pêcheurs Restaurant extra Du petit déjeuner au dîner tout le personnel est au petit soin Le petit village à 200m Si vous aimez marcher vous détendre et vous régalez c’est ici qu’il faut aller La balade autour du port avec un tour jusqu’à l’île de Renote il faudra compter 2h mais vraiment faites le c’est magnifique Un des plus beau séjour que nous avons fait et nous en faisons pas mal .. Quoique pas assez 😁😁

Il est parfois difficile de commenter un séjour. Être objectif c'est aussi juger séparément les prestations si nécessaire. C'est le cas pour cet hôtel. Tout d'abord, il faut préciser que notre chambre était réservée sur base de la présence d'un petit chien. Si cette chambre était confortable, la moquette datée et la déco ne sont plus de ce temps. Les autres chambres sont peut-être plus au goût du jour. Par contre, nous avons vraiment apprécié l'hospitalité et la gentillesse du personnel. Les tenanciers, tout comme les dames qui s'occupent du petit déjeuner et du nettoyage sont d'une disponibilité et d'une sympathie exceptionnelle. Les petites attentions ainsi que la gratuité des sodas frigorifiés sont des plus qui font plaisir. Un accès arrière avec parkings pour les PMR ainsi que des places en suffisance devant l'établissement facilite grandement l'accès au bâtiment. Il semble que, malgré le fait que les clients disposent d'un ascenseur, il est possible de loger en sous-sol afin d'éviter au maximum de pénaliser les handicapés. Reste le restaurant. Je le noterai séparément sur le même site dans l'onglet correspondant. Nous sommes très satisfait de notre séjour. Si vous voulez sentir l'esprit de cette partie de la Bretagne, c'est ici que vous trouverez votre bonheur.
