Anastasia Waterpark Beach Resort

I highly don’t recommend this resort, only if you you want to stay in a dirty room, nobody assumes that, you have to ask at the reception to come and clean and…. they don’t clean properly. when I saw that no one came to clean, I asked them to give me a mop so I could wash the floor. But I will let the photos to speak for myself. Execrable room…. there is no closet to put clothes, the bed linen was dirty, the bed for the child was the same as in the army (if you know what I mean)… And the food… 7 days my baby (2 years) ate only pasta and fries… breakfast and lunch the same every single day, nothing different. more diverse food was served at dinner…

This will be the most honest review you will read. When you go in to the hotel, at first glance, it looks fine. The lobby area is decent. However, when we went up the lift, the carpet was very dirty and hadn’t been vacuumed for the 6 days we were there. The room was tired looking and not the cleanest. As an all inclusive customer, I have mixed feelings. The food was ok, there were some dishes that were really nice but others that were not. The snacks that premium all inclusive guests got were not nice at all. More for kids rather than adults. The most disappointing part was the drinks as not everything is included. The thing that upset me was that when I ordered a frappe (iced coffee) I didn’t need to pay. However, the lady next to me ordered the same and was charged. When I asked why, the waitress said that management said only Cypriot people get it free. I was so embarrassed as the waitress herself was not Cypriot, so how must she feel knowing that management discriminate in this way. My children enjoyed the waterpark on the first day, however the saddest thing happened on day 2. A 7 year old little girl drowned in the small pool at the waterpark. The lifeguards froze when she was pulled out of the water and a British guest who was a doctor had to step in to perform CPR. The lifeguards didn’t seemed to be fully trained, I saw them either on their phones, messing around in the pools or leaving their stations before and after this incident. Complaints were made to management but nothing changed. One lifeguard was even dancing a few hours after the little girl was taking to hospital. I would never stay at this hotel again nor would I recommend it. It’s definitely not a 4*, it is very run down and not safe.

The rooms are not serviced daily. Even if you put the tag on the door for your room they just ignore the sign. We had to call reception for more toilet paper cause no one serviced our room too see that we ran out. The showers are crusty. The meals are average sort of the same every day. The waiters work such long hours we feel quite sorry for them. No entertainment in the evenings. Won't be back to that hotel again.

Good location right on the beach. All inclusive was good always found something to eat. Housekeeping left something to desired but I believe this is down to the staff that are employed. The same goes for the restaurant and bar staff. Apart the two barman that worked in the lobby bar and a couple of staff in the restaurant the rest of the staff were lazy and rude and did not understand a word you said. The staff could do with undertaking a customer service course. I felt that the holiday overall was good apart from the service you got from the majority of the staff.

I am not one to write a review after just ariving this morning the review of what people have put is bang on this hotel is absolutely terrible food is so bad I have been to far better hotel than this they don't cater for people with food allergies the pools are absolutely freezing the room are in massive redecorating the people cannot be assed when you ask questions avoid

We couldn't wait to get home. The hotel is dirty, rooms are not cleaned properly if at all, the hotel is badly maintained and needs a complete refurb. sheets not changed for the whole of our 2 week trip, towels in room are taken away and not replaced, took 5 days to get handtowels and extra pillows, when pillows arrived they were stained and lumpy. Beds are the most uncomfortable we have ever had to endure, we didn't sleep for the whole holiday. The hygeine standards in the restaurant leave a lot to be desired, staff obviously have no training. The staff at this hotel are all miserable or rude and don't have any pride in their work. The beach is across a busy road and gates from the garden are chained up There is an open air nightclub and the noise is horrendous, heavy metal band playing from mid afternoon until the early hours, this is advertised as quiet and relaxing resort, far from it, if you sit in the garden the music from the bar is so loud there is no time to relax. I could go on but it would take forever. There is nothing good about this hotel which is advertised as 4 star, please be warned and don't book you will regret it.
