Let me put the record straight on the review A E left First of all I was there the same week and saw no fighting or police! Not 1 cockroach was seen! Why walk 40 minutes when the was a bus every 15 minutes and was only 2 euros? The only thing I saw was the waiting staff having to put with rude arrogant British. I was embarrassed to be British. My room was cleaned every other day with fresh sheets and towels and I actually went to reception to say how good the cleaners were. It's a family business who work bloody hard along with their staff. Some people need to think before they speak! Every member of staff were as helpful and friendly as they could be. I ate there every day and the food was of a good standard. Would I return, definitely. The only downside and it's so throughout Cyprus is smoking in restaurants. I had read some of the bad reviews on here and was worried by some reviews. Within the first day all my worries had subsided. It's not a 5 star hotel and that relates in the price, but it's definitely 5 star service.

I have stayed in one of the apartments for 10 days. We found cockroaches under the bed, staff very rude especially at night time. The electric system went haywire two times which easily could've caused a fire. In addition, when they changed sheets on the rare occasions that happened it already had holes in them. Please please do not stay there

Windmills is an excellent family run business who made us feel right at home during our stay here. Our room was large and spacious with good air con and a large balcony which was nice to relax on with nice views of the pool. The on site bar and restaurant served lovely drinks and food and provided us with a variety in house entertainment which we all loved. All the staff worked tirelessly to ensure our stay was the best and we appreciate the efforts they all went to. Would definitely recommend in future and already planning my next trip.
