Valentin Somni Hotel & Suites

On arrival in this hotel the first thing we noticed was the extreme cleanliness and the pleasant aroma in reception area. Check in was quick and easy, greeted by friendly staff, offered a lovely cold glass of bubbly . On arrival to our room we were really impressed which was a standard room, plenty of space unlike some of the comments stating otherwise. The layout of the shower toilet & sink didn't have any issues with us as we have stayed in other hotels in Spain that has a similar layout. Room is beautiful & bright, absolutely spotless, no complaints, room cleaned everyday to a high standard, think the housekeeping lady was called Maria, sorry if I've got your name wrong but thank you, we stayed in room 437 from 20 Oct to 25th. The food and restaurant was outstanding! A big thank you to all the hardworking staff. All staff are very friendly & polite, stunning hotel sums this up and would definitely return. Just on our way home from a fantastic stay in this hotel . From the moment we arrived the service was first class , greeted with a glass of champagne from Ricardo who kindly helped us to our room . We stopped in the gold suite block B and it was spacious, modern , spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The food was excellent, the service was excellent, and plenty of choice . We were half board and the drinks were reasonably price and served by great bar staff . We joined in a few activities and really enjoyed them , thanks to Laura and Claudia . We would recommend this hotel and will definitely return !

We really loved this hotel. It ideally situated for us as a couple in our mid/late 60s. Yes there's a bit of a hill to walk up or down but it didn't bother us. The beach, shops and restaurants are all within walking distance. We had a standard room but found it to be adequate for our needs. Yes the toilet doesn't leave a lot to the imagination and I could see that being an issue for some. But we just gave each other the required space. The food at the hotel was very good and there was a lot of choice. The service in the restaurant was friendly and professional. My only gripe was the water temperature in the pool. It was very chilly and put us off going in. The sea was warmer. Just be aware that there was a charge of 20€ for two loungers and an umbrella on the beach.

Well what a hotel !!!!! Start to finish was just magic - everything was perfect The hotel is absolutely immaculate and has everything we needed We were bed and breakfast and the food was plentiful from cereals to fruit yogurts to every bread there is cheeses Hams and then full English breakfast - also omelettes made while you wait - all delicious!!!! Hotels up a slight incline from town but the walk was needed after all the food consumed !!! Paguera is a lovely town shops cafe’s restaurants pubs bars all plentiful Can recommend the Indian - Gateway to India and also the Thai restaurant We had a perfect holiday Thank you for our lovely room too it’s was wonderful - we had champagne in our room to celebrate my husband’s retirement was such a lovely gesture - thank you Valentin Somni A hotel that is highly recommended

First of this is a fantastic hotel. But have to point out straight away that it's situated on a hill that's a fine 5-10 min walk downhill to the bars restaurants (which are great with lots of different cuisine to chose from) .and beach area.but it's a decent trek back up the way. Especially if you have mobility or any health issues.Arrived mid afternoon.room was ready in 10 mins. During our wait we were offered cava or orange juice (lovely touch). Room was very clean and very nice. Only issue was our bathroom area only had a curtain around it. It was Pointed out that we were only given this room due to the fact my wife has some very difficult mobility issues. Said it wasn't to our taste and were moved to a regular room straight away. Now these regular rooms are perfectly lovely with a nice balcony but they do have frosted glass around the shower and toilet. No issues with the frosted shower but probably not to private for the toilet. but wasn't to bad. Everywhere is super clean. Pool area fantastic with a great pool bar that serves great food. The staff are truly fantastic. I must especially give a shout out to ezequiel behind the bar. Great lad and nothing was to much. Lovely buffet breakfast lots of things to chose from. Very decent entertainment on every night and a fantastic inside bar foyer area to chill out in. All in all a highly recommend place to enjoy a holiday in the sun.

Our overall rating is 5 stars!!! Why? Great experience!!! Especially during the “White Party” all foods and drinks are free for everyone to enjoy plus lively music playing. We stayed for 14 days at the hotel (10-24 August 2024) and all we can say is that every staff members we encountered were great in their jobs. They serve with a smile and are helpful all the time. Big thanks to Melanie, Christian, Miguel and Veronica for running their team members amazingly. Rita and others at the reception desk are brilliant. The ambience of the hotel is great, clean and relaxing reception area, and the bar is always clean. Rooms are different but always clean, thanks to all the hardworking cleaners. The rooftop area is very cosy and relaxing. If you want to then you can join the fun/activities at the pool area, or just enjoy the day and busk in the sun. There is musical entertainment every night. Thanks to Flora and Laura and the team for keeping everyone having fun. The dining room and the dining experiences we had were excellent, with more food options to choose from, fresh produce every day, and tasty foods prepared daily, including desserts and bread and lots of fresh seafood to enjoy. Fruits are always fresh too. They also have different food themes every day which is great. Thanks to the team Maricruz, Ivan, Laura, Claudia, Ima, Sergio and the rest of the kitchen team. The location is not too far from the centre or to Palma and nearby tourist spots, but quiet enough if you just like to relax. The beaches around Paguera are great too. (room 303/404 [304] ) @miguel.
