Second time back to this hotel and absolutely love the place the staff are really nice and welcoming and helpful nothing is too much trouble

Beautiful spacious room. It was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Helpful and friendly staff. There was lots of parking space and the hotel was ideally situated for the town. The food we had was plentiful and tasty. The extra leisure facilities of a nearby sister hotel were available at no cost.

We stayed here in March this year and called in for an afternoon tipple on our second visit in December, while we were staying at the Hydro. I really like the atmosphere at the Park. The staff are lovely and the blonde receptionist lady recognised us and our pup from our previous visit which is always a nice touch. There are always lovely people to chat to in the bar and we met a lovely family from Edinburgh. It was a pleasure to chat with the couple and their son, mostly about our respective dogs! The only drawback is that dogs are only allowed in bedrooms and the bar. There is a lounge area which would be a lovely place to sit with our pup. Nevertheless we will return next year for a stay. My friend and I stayed at the Park hotel whilst on a 3 day fishing trip, this is the first, and certainly not the last time we will stay there. From entering the hotel we were greeted by Val, who was very helpful, and also very keen to advise us on the town of Peebles. The staff were excellent and areal credit to the hotel, from the bar staff, to the waitresses that served us a fantastic breakfast. We have stayed in a few hotels in Peebles, but will definitely be returning. We didn’t catch any fish this time, and Val was amused when we said next time we go fishing, we will put a fly on the end of the line, which at first she thought we hadn’t. Once again well done. Liam

Just had a couple of night stays at the Park and it was wonderful from start to finish. The room was nice and cosy and the bed was lovely and comfortable and there was plenty of hot water at all times. I ate at the hotel on both nights, The food was delicious and portions generous, also the same at breakfast. The staff were very polite and obliging and nothing was a bother. I will return in the future. A huge thank you to one and all.

We have stayed a few times in the past at the Hydro and enjoyed the experiences. This time on the recommendation of a friend we were advised that a stay at the Park would be good for getting around town and we would still be able to use the facilities at the Hydro. We enjoyed our stay in Peebles but definitely let down withe the layout of our small bathroom. Whoever planned it got it wrong!

Had a lovely time in Peebles the park hotel, we were attending a wedding at neidpath castle, venue was within walking distance approx 20 mins walk, easy access to taxis to and from the castle Didn’t get chance to use the spa facilities at the hydro Hotel was clean and friendly only downfall bathroom was a bit cramped

Stayed here in May this year, and if I could give zero stars I would do so. Room was dirty with hairs on the bed which were not ours, we were bitten and felt our skin crawling while in bed. When we mentioned this to management, we were met with a rude and unhelpful response from the manager. When we went home, it transpired that the bedbugs from the hotel had come home with us. This infested our home. Despite making an official complaint, to this day we have not received any money back, simply a hollow “we are sorry you feel that way” which is not even an apology. In my opinion, it appears they lied about having called pest control. Our holiday was completely ruined, and this is the worst hotel my partner has visited in 45 years. A real let-down from the Crieff Hydro group of hotels. Please see attached photographic evidence.
